Following the news of Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy’s death, fans and celebrities shared their feelings on social media. One of those sharing their memories of the star was his fellow Batman: The Animated Series co-star Mark Hamill, who voiced the Joker in the show, as well as on many other occasions. One Instagram post by visual artist M.J. Hiblen struck a particular chord with the feelings of many fans of Conroy’s work, as it included a piece of art showing Hamill’s Joker mourning the loss of his enemy with the iconic villain saying, “Goodbye, old friend,” while Hiblen himself wrote, “Final fitting tribute to [Kevin Conroy] RIP Batman....

Fiore Films, an independent production company, today announced it has signed actress Kelly Preston to play the role of John Gotti Sr.’s wife Victoria in the Barry Levinson-directed film Gotti: Three Generations. Preston will be co-starring opposite her real-life husband John Travolta who will be playing the role of John Gotti Sr. The Hollywood couple’s daughter, Ella Bleu Travolta will play the role of their daughter, Angel Gotti. Green Lantern: First Flight, the latest film in Warner Premiere’s line of DC Universe Animated Original PG-13 movies has had it’s release date shifted to July 28, 2009. Green Lantern: First Flight will be the first ever full-length animated film starring Green Lantern Hal Jordan, and will be available as a special edition 2-disc version on DVD and Blu-Ray, as well as a single disc DVD. According to a statement released by his family, Downs died on Wednesday while surrounded by family at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona.
