After Kaleidoscope rose to the top on Netflix, series star Giancarlo Esposito celebrated the achievement. Created by Eric Garcia, Kaleidoscope is a story told over 25 years with a group of thieves organizing the ultimate heist. They’re led by Leo Pap, Esposito’s character who hopes his crew will succeed in pulling off the $7 billion heist. It’s a hook that has intrigued enough Netflix viewers to tune in to make Kaleidoscope the No. 1 series in the U.S.
“This is incredible! Kaleidoscope is #1 in the country!” Esposito said of the news on Twitter. “Thank you to everyone who has watched it. This is a special project that I had the best time being a part of and your support truly means the world.”

Kaleidoscope has its story play out in an interesting way. Rather than unfolding what happens concurrently, each episode is set at a different point in time, going back 24 years before to six months after the heist. Each installment will provide a different piece of the puzzle until the finale when everything is made crystal clear.
