Acclaimed actor Giancarlo Esposito is getting into the vodka business. The Better Call Saul star has just partnered up with Dirty Devil Vodka amid the award-winning Canadian brand’s plans to expand across the United States. Esposito has been named the Global Brand Ambassador for the beverage, which is made with Hyper-Oxygenated water and described as a “devilishly vibrant” drink that leaves a “clean mouthfeel and smooth finish.”

“As a true vodka lover not only am I honored but I am thrilled to be involved with such a revolutionary vodka brand that shares my passions for creativity, innovation, and being best of class,” Esposito said of the partnership.

Esposito is said to have been developing branding and creative content closely alongside his longtime friend, CEO Murray Merkley, to “deliver an innovative vodka with great taste.” The decision to give Esposito this job also comes as he tends to play characters who are “edgy yet sincere, smooth in body, but disruptive and full of character - just like the vodka.” The actor may be best known for his role as Gus Fring in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, with other popular roles including The Mandalorian, The Boys, and Godfather of Harlem.

Giancarlo Esposito Will Soon Say Farewell to Gus Fring

Giancarlo Esposito has garnered great acclaim with his role as Los Pollos Hermanos owner and secret meth kingpin Gus Fring in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. He can currently be seen on Mondays in the sixth and final season of the latter. As Gus has become so popular with fans, there have been many hoping to see Fring’s story expanded with another spinoff series. This is an idea that Esposito has also endorsed.

“I always feel like, every time this ends, I always feel I have more to give,” the actor has explained, per The Rich Eisen Show. “And I’m an actor, so I want the audience to know everything about Gus Fring, but if you’re able to know less, there’s more mystery. So, just when I think it’s over, Vince Gilligan says, ‘You never know.’ Boy, do I love that.”

Esposito added, “I’ve always wanted, I’ll just say it, I’ve always felt in my mind there is room for ‘The Rise of Gus.’ This show’s about Jimmy McGill, it’s a reflection of who we are and what we do, and who we become. How you become comfortable with that, justify it… Jimmy has a line in the fourth season, ‘I’m good at this!’ And you know what, I’m good at this. I can play this guy. And sooner or later, you’re going to see the whole picture, I believe.”
