Meanwhile, the child they’ve both been following was swapped at birth with another and is living out his life like a normal everyday kid. But will his powers get the better of him? Will Aziraphale and Crowley find him in time? Meanwhile, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are gathering and Heaven and Hell are both gearing up for quite the show.

After the release of Good Omens, fans were curious about the possibility of more. Gaiman, ever present on social media, never denied the possibility of a sequel. But he was also clear of the closure for the main story remaining within the first season, as he says in an interview with the Austin American Statesman.
But in 2017, the author revealed that the two actually plotted out the book’s sequel a year before the initial book was published. But when Neil moved to America, nothing became of the project after. The two became busy with their own projects and Aziraphale and Crowley enjoyed a happily ever after. With the second season greenlit, Gaiman finally made that sequel happen and those adventures continue. Rob Wilkins, who doubles as both the representative of Pratchett’s estate and executive producer on Good Omens season one said this about the show with Hypable.com.
Good Omens season two still has yet to reveal a release date. But with the film wrapping that only means a big step has already been made. With footage being captured it means that hopefully trailers will be on the horizon, and with that a release date. And it couldn’t come soon enough, with the way the world seems to be these days, it’s nice to know there’s an angel and demon working hard to keep it all spinning.
