Gutsy will feature intimate interviews with female celebrities admired by the Clinton family. Joining them will be some of their “personal heroes, extraordinary, courageous, and resilient women who have made an impact in their community and on the world.” The list includes Kim Kardashian, Megan Thee Stallion, Dr. Jane Goodall, Gloria Steinem, Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer, Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson, and many more.

“What is a gutsy woman? For us, it is somebody who is courageous and resilient, who pursues her passion and purpose with a sense of mission not only on behalf of herself but on behalf of others,” Hillary Clinton previously said in a Lithub interview. “Someone who reaches back and brings others along, who opens doors, and is constantly trying to figure out how to make a positive difference in the world and is fundamentally optimistic regardless of what has happened to her. We have women here who were really knocked down by life … but they kept finding ways to reach other people and make a difference.”

Per Apple, Gutsy also becomes the latest title in a lineup of docuseries and documentaries being offered at Apple TV+. Others include the Emmy Award-winning Boys State; The Velvet Underground from director Todd Haynes; Critics Choice Award-winning and Emmy and Grammy Award-nominated Beastie Boys Story; They Call Me Magic, the documentary event series from director Rick Famuyiwa chronicling the life of NBA Hall of Famer and Cultural Icon Earvin “Magic” Johnson; the global smash hit documentary Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry; Werner Herzog’s Critics Choice Documentary Award nominee Fireball: Visitors from Darker Worlds; as well as upcoming documentaries The Supermodels; and Number One on the Call Sheet, from Jamie Foxx, Kevin Hart, Datari Turner, and Dan Cogan.
