Gutsy, the eight-part docuseries heading to Apple TV+ next month, has gotten an official trailer. Hosted by Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton, the series sees the Clintons honoring some of the famous women who inspire them. The series will start streaming on Sept. 9, 2022, on Apple TV+, but you can get a sneak peek right now by watching the official trailer below.
Gutsy is based on the New York Times bestselling book, The Book of Gutsy Women. Per Apple TV+, the series will follow the Clintons embarking on a “thought-provoking journey to speak with pioneering artists, activists, community leaders, and everyday heroes who show us what it truly means to be gutsy.” The streamer also notes that viewers will see another side of the Clintons, with the show revealing their “special mother-daughter bond and the unique, multi-generational way they approach the important and timely issues highlighted in each episode.”

The show will feature conversations with some of the Clintons’ personal heroes, focusing on courageous and resilient women who have made an impact, not just in their local communities, but for the entire world. Confirmed names that will be featured in season 1 include Glennon Doyle, Dr. Jane Goodall, Mariska Hargitay, Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson, Kim Kardashian, Megan Thee Stallion, Amber Ruffin, Amy Schumer, Gloria Steinem, Wanda Sykes, Symone (aka Reggie Gavin), Abby Wambach, Natalie Wynn (aka ContraPoints), and many more.
The series was produced for Apple by HiddenLight Productions in association with Left/Right LLC. Both Clintons also serve as executive producers for Gutsy alongside Johnny Webb, Siobhan Sinnerton, Roma Khanna, Ken Druckerman, Banks Tarver, and showrunner Anna Chai. Kevin Vargas produced with Claire Featherstone, while Huma Abedin and Bari Lurie served as consulting producers. The show’s director’s include Chai, MJ Delaney, Amber Fares, Sally Freeman, Yu Gu, Joie Jacoby, Arlene Nelson, and Cynthia Wade.
Gutsy Joins Many Documentaries and Docuseries at Apple TV+

There are many offerings of documentaries for subscribers on Apple TV+. Gutsy will be soon featured alongside the Emmy winning series Boys State as well as the Emmy and Grammy nominee Beastie Boys Story. Some of the other docs viewers will be able to check out include th acclaimed titles The Velvet Underground, They Call Me Magic, Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry, and Fireball: Visitors from Darker Worlds. Other new docs include The Supermodels and Number One on the Call Sheet.
Gutsy will start streaming on Apple TV+ starting on Sept. 9, 2022.
