“No. I think theres been a few guys that have. Sadly, I’m not one of them, but I do know for a fact that the cogs are in motion for Barbara [Broccoli] so I just wish them the best. I think they’re going to choose the most appropriate Bond. I’d love to be in the Bond universe, not specifically Bond, but let’s play in that sandpit. I’ll play OddJob, it doesn’t matter. What would I bring? Oh gosh. I’d bring… I’d bring a sense of mystery, a sense of charm and good looks.” Golding jokingly added.

When it comes to iconic roles in Hollywood, few are as legendary as James Bond. For decades, fans have been enamored with the suave spy, watching as each actor brings their own unique spin to the character. Names like Henry Cavill and Idris Elba have been thrown around to be the next James Bond, and now the latest name to enter the fray is Aaron Taylor Johnson. The news broke recently that Taylor-Johnson met with producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli about taking over as the next Bond. This news was first reported by Puck News, which claimed that the meeting went “well” and that the rumors of Taylor-Johnson taking on the role were true.

But who will star in the next James Bond film? There have been numerous rumors floating around about who will be the next Bond, but no definitive answer has been given yet. In a recent interview, producer Michael G. Wilson stated that the franchise producers are not necessarily looking for a younger actor to play the coveted role. Instead, he pointed out that Bond is already a veteran and must have had some experience in the military or something similar. Thus, he believes the best candidate would be someone in their thirties. This would put Aaron Taylor-Johnson, currently aged 32, in the perfect position to take over as James Bond. Aaron Taylor-Johnson is an experienced actor, having starred in several major franchises such as Kick-Ass, Godzilla, and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Some would argue that age doesn’t matter when it comes to the role of James Bond as long as they have the right acting chops. However, with Wilson’s recent comments, it is clear they are looking for someone who has had some life experience and can relate to the character. With his age and experience in the industry, Taylor-Johnson ticks all the right boxes and could be just the right man for the job.
