9 Baby Pegasus (Hercules)

But what may be seen as one of the most underrated Disney movies, the light-hearted Hurcules from 1997, has one of the cutest characters of all time to capture our hearts: Hurcules’ winged horse best friend, Pegasus. Grown-up Pegasus is cute by all means and wonderfully animated, but it is every Disney fan’s dream come true to see those tiny wings on baby Pegasus. It has to be said that any character as a baby will automatically be cute (and the same could be said about baby Hercules), but baby Pegasus is undoubtedly one of the cutest.

8 Dug (Up)

Any dog lover would do anything for a pet like Dug from Up. Not only is he absolutely adorable, but he is loyal and always happy to be part of an adventure. Any child who has a pet dog has surely spoken to them to see if they would speak back, which is something extra that makes Dug one of the cutest characters of all time - his convenient collar that helps him translate his thoughts into human language, every pet owner’s dream. The Pixar favorite is even so cute that he is even receiving his own Disney+ series Dug Days, which will follow Dug exploring new experiences for the first time since leaving Paradise Falls.

7 Stitch (Lilo and Stitch)

Stitch from Lilo and Stitch has gone down in history as one of the most popular Disney characters of all time, and possibly one of the cutest. His over the top personality and brilliant growth throughout the movie bringing a lot of joy. What might make him even cuter is that he was originally created to hurt others but learned how to be good when he met Lilo - how adorable. Despite Stitch’s ability to change his appearance from a cute little creature to his original form, which has an extra set of arms and antennae, some fans still think it’s uncontrollably adorable, though it goes without saying that Stitch is at his cutest when he looks like a small little puppy-like creature.

6 Baymax (Big Hero 6)

Baymax from Big Hero 6, a big inflatable adorable robot has to be one of the most gentle and caring characters ever created. He was invented to take care of people, so he’s able to scan people and diagnose their health problems. He is loving, compassionate, and loyal, doing his best to look after and help his patients. Although he doesn’t understand much about the world, this just seems to make him even cuter.

Baymax tends to wander around aimlessly, which is a nice little addition to his adorable personality, but he never fails to do a good job of caring about the people in his life. Could this character get any cuter? He makes all his fans want to give him a huge cuddle, because everyone would want a Baymax in their lives. We get to see more of Baymax when the adorable robot returns for a series on Disney+.

There is no doubt that Piglet is the biggest worrier in Winnie the Pooh, and someone who doubts everything - something he is forced to overcome. But what makes him so cute is that he teaches others about bravery. Piglet is one of the most kind-hearted and faithful characters, and you can count on him to give it his all in every adventure. Piglet’s bond with Pooh is one of the best relationships between characters, and it makes him a memorable character. He may be small, but he has a fierce heart, not to mention those huge cute floppy ears.

How could anyone not fall in love with a white puppy with chubby cheeks and long ears, blue eyes, pink cheeks, and a plump and curly tail that resembles a cinnamon roll? Cinnamoroll from Hello Kitty is so unbelievably cute with is his pair of long fluffy ears which also functions as his wings, so he can fly around the cloud. Sanrio, the company behind the franchise, does a yearly fan poll to vote on the best Hello Kitty characters, and Cinnamoroll is currently ranked number one (as he often is).

3 Chip (Beauty and the Beast)

Chip is just an incredibly lovable and cute character from Beauty and the Beast. While all the other inanimate but anthropomorphized objects are sweet, Chip is essentially the child of the story, and there is a sense of innocence in everything he does, which means that fans just automatically find him endearing. The classic Disney movie created a very curious character who always wants to learn about the world. Everything he does is fun and light-hearted which, along with his downright adorable little cup design, brings a certain charm to the movie. What is even more charming is that Chip gets to turn back into a human once the spell is broken. In his mom’s arms, he asks her if they “are gonna live happily ever after,” and she replies, “of course, my dear,” which generates so much joy in our hearts and makes us hope the best for Chip Potts.

2 Tony Chopper (One Piece)

Tony Chopper from One Piece is naïve and extremely timid towards unfamiliar humans, and he would rather run and hide than fight, which makes us love him even more. But throughout what is one of the most popular and long-running anime, he does become more courageous when others are there to support him and makes it easier for us all to root for him, and we can’t turn away from his cute fierce face. It is almost as if he is on a journey to find his courage, seeing almost anyone on his team as a role model, which everyone can surely relate to. It almost feels like we need to protect him, which makes him even more lovable.

1 WALL-E (WALL-E)

Pixar truly achieved something special with the dark but beautiful post-apocalyptic story of two robots falling in love in WALL-E. This cute little robot is possibly one of the most anthropomorphic robots any animation has ever created, but there’s a slight giddiness to the way WALL-E cruises along at work to collect his little treasures which is so sweet. When he gets home filled with newly discovered trash treasure, he carefully examines each item with pure love and care, which makes him even that much cuter. WALL-E’s tear drop-shaped eyes are also not only crucial to how he conveys emotion without words, but adds to the adorable appearance that fills us all up with joy inside. The animation design, childlike characteristics, and grim but ultimately sweet story, not to mention the genuine romance that we get to witness in this movie, leads to WALL-E having arguably the cutest movie character.
