If you grew up in the 90s/2000s, there’s a very small chance you’ve heard of High School Musical. Over the years of watching Disney Channel, how many times did you turn on the TV and hear “We’re all in this together!” or the famous song, “Gotta Go My Own Way.” Dubbed a multi-billion-dollar success (per Variety), with a legacy that continues on over 16 years after its initial, humble release on Disney Channel, the High School Musical franchise won big. The franchise consists of High School Musical, High School Musical 2, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, and Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure.
The series is so popular that, back in 2019, they released a TV show spinoff, titled High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, with Season 4 around the corner. Originally, the movie followed Troy Bolton (Zac Efron), a basketball team captain auditioning for a school musical lead role with Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens), the extremely intelligent, but shy, transfer student. This causes a rift in the school’s social hierarchy, creating conflict, an upset in the balance of power, love stories, and new friendships. With all the success High School Musical has brought our main characters, we wonder years later: where is the cast today? Are they still “all in this together?”

Since High School Musical, Tisdale has produced films, such as Cloud 9, Daphne & Velma and Picture This. She also produced soundtracks, such as “Trophy Boy” from Charming and “Be Good To Me” from Bring It On: In It To Win It. Of course, she still has a strong acting career as well.
