The second annual Los Angeles, Italia Film Festival, celebrating Italian cinema, art and fashion in America, featured 40 films and hosted over 12,000 audience members in just seven days. The fest was in honor of renowned film music composer Ennio Morricone, who received the 2007 Academy Award for Lifetime Achievement. Also honored was Milena Canonero, who won an Oscar for Best Costume Design, and whose costumes from Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette were on exhibit.
