A few months ago, Marvel fans were surprised by the official announcement of Deadpool 3, with the return of not only Ryan Reynolds but Hugh Jackman as Wolverine after saying many times he wouldn’t reprise the role after Logan (2017). There’s still plenty of time for the actor to prepare for the film, but he’s already into it.
On his social media, Jackman shared an image of sculptures of the two characters side by side, preparing the audience for what might be one of the most epic reunions on screen, especially considering Hugh and Ryan’s friendship, which will be a fantastic addition to the characters’ chemistry.

Deadpool 3 will introduce both the Merc with a Mouth and Wolverine to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is possible thanks to Disney’s purchase of 20th Century Studios. This will be an essential part of the expansion of the franchise, with the mutants now able to join the world of the Avengers and the rest of the characters we’ve been seeing for the last couple of years, something that the fans have been asking for a long time.

After the smashing success of Deadpool 1 and 2, Ryan Reynolds is ready to go big now under the banner of Marvel Studios with the next installment of his story as Wade Wilson. But, of course, this means keeping a lot of surprises for the movie release, so there’s little information about what we’ll get to see on it.
But, thanks to Hugh Jackman himself, we got a few details. In the last couple of months, the actor has been speaking about the film, revealing some important information about the direction of Deadpool 3:
This means that what we saw in Logan will stay the same. Hugh also spoke about the character’s relationship in the story and their hate-hate attitude toward one another.
“But all thanks to this device that they have in the Marvel world to move through timelines, now we can go back because, you know, it’s science. And so I don’t have to fuck with Logan’s timeline, which was important to me, and I think probably the fans as well”.
Deadpool 3 will arrive in theaters on November 9, 2024.
“How do I categorize it? Ten is very close, zero is reality, we are zero, we are opposites, we hate each other. I’m speaking from my perspective, [Logan] is frustrated by him, wants to be a million miles from him, or wants to punch him in the head. Unfortunately, you can’t get a million miles from him in this movie, so I’ll probably hit him over the head a lot”.
