There is no word at this time in regards to when production will begin. It also has been revealed which cast members will be returning come time for Hunters season 2, though it seems likely that at least some of the ensemble will come back for the sophomore run. The news was confirmed by the show’s official Twitter account. A turntable is playing a record titled “Hunters Season 1” before the disc is swapped out for “Hunters Season 2.” Psycho Killer by The Talking Heads then begins to play. Series reactor David Weil had this to say.
The series stars Al Pacino, Logan Lerman, Jerrika Hinton, Josh Radnor, Kate Mulvany, Tiffany Boone, Greg Austin, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Dylan Baker and Lena Olin. Jordan Peele, who is known as the director of Get Out and Us, produced the series through his own Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions company. Sonar Entertainment is also behind the show. David Weil, in addition to his duties as creator, serves as executive producer and co-showrunner alongside Nikki Toscano, who is also an executive producer. Win Rosenfeld, Nelson McCormick and Tom Lesinski are also on board as executive producers.
“With Hunters, David Weil’s bold vision and fearless imagination powered a thrilling, twisty, action-packed first season that engaged Prime Video customers around the world. We are thrilled that David, Jordan and the Hunters will be back with us for more.”
