Last year the hit Netflix adult animated comedy, Inside Job, wrapped up its first season with a bang! The season ended on a major cliffhanger that left audiences itching for more! Earlier this week, the streaming service dropped a full trailer of what’s in store. The trailer and synopsis can be viewed below.

Inside Job follows the misadventures of Regan Ridley (played by Lizzy Caplan), who works for the undercover government organization, Cognito Inc.. The company also happens to be responsible for covering up all of the great conspiracy theories in the country. Regan is joined by her team of misfit coworkers (Clark Duke, Tisha Campbell, John DiMaggio, Bobby Lee, and Brett Gelman) as they both make and fix any sort of trouble that Cognito Inc. happens to be in.

Rand took over the world. Reagan is rightfully pissed. And Gigi’s all over up on our grill about this new guy named Ron Stadler (played by Adam Scott). Like c’mon, give a girl a break.

This wasn’t the first look at the upcoming Part 2 of Inside Job. Back in June, Netflix released a first look that shows the first few minutes of the upcoming season. We see Regan has upped her drinking habit, and Cognito Inc. has been going bananas under her father’s rein. The clip can be viewed below.

Netflix also released another clip of the upcoming season, which involves Reagan attending a therapy meeting similar to Alcoholics Anonymous, but with a different assembly of characters. It is here where Reagan meets Ran Statler (played by Adam Scott), who is Chief Mind Erasing expert for the Illuminati, a rival company of Cognito Inc., from the looks of the season trailer it looks like this won’t be the last we’ll see of him.

From the trailer above, it looks like a lot of what fans love is coming back tenfold, along with even higher stakes. Reagan and Statler will be developing a relationship in one way or another, and will likely resolve in a team up of sorts. Meanwhile Reagan’s father will be facing an all new series of trouble in his new role in the company. The trailer concludes with a lightning fast slideshow that includes references to The Matrix, Shazam, and even Disney Channel bumpers.

Inside Job is the brainchild of Shion Takeuchi (Gravity Falls) and is produced by Alex Hirsch (Gravity Falls) and Mike Hollingsworth (BoJack Horseman). The series premiered in October 2021 and was renewed for a second season that following June. Inside Job: Part 2 will be premiering on November 18th on Netflix.
