John Cena is hoping to see a positive resolution to the feud between Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Vin Diesel. This is an interesting position for Cena as he’s someone who knows both actors very well. Cena previously worked with The Rock in WWE where they had a storyline feud of their own. More recently, Cena co-starred in F9 as the brother of Diesel’s character. In a recent interview per Pardon My Take (as transcribed by Wrestling Inc.),Cena said this when asked about the situation.

Always the diplomatic one, Cena wants to forget about the feud. He acknowledges what makes each of them great and hopes to see the two come to an understanding rather than continuing this feud, which may start with taking a moment to hear where everyone is really coming from.

John Cena Will Probably Appear in Fast & Furious Finale, But Don’t Count on The Rock Showing Up

It’s a pretty safe bet that John Cena will be back in the Fast & Furious finale. The movie series is set to conclude with a two-part eleventh installment. Vin Diesel had been trying to get as many franchise stars to come back for the finale as possible, and this meant inviting The Rock for the finale. He did so with a post on Instagram, but this failed to get Dwayne Johnson interested.

“I told [Diesel] directly that I would not be returning to the franchise," The Rock recently said. “I was firm yet cordial with my words and said that I would always be supportive of the cast and always root for the franchise to be successful, but that there was no chance I would return. Vin’s recent public post was an example of his manipulation. I didn’t like that he brought up his children in the post, as well as Paul Walker’s death. Leave them out of it. We had spoken months ago about this and came to a clear understanding.”

Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson will be headlining movie for some time to come, but don’t bet on them sharing the screen again anytime soon.
