Both old and new cast members discuss the legacy and impact of Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park in this newly released behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming sequel, Jurassic World Dominion. Released courtesy of the Jurassic World Twitter account, the footage offers one-on-one interviews with several prominent cast members, including Jurassic Park alums Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Ian Malcolm as well as Jurassic World leads Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, alongside new glimpses at director Colin Trevorrow’s latest installment, which he co-wrote with Emily Carmichael.
“Jurassic World Dominion is the culmination of the franchise,” director Colin Trevorrow says in the clip. “It concludes a story that Steven Spielberg started telling in 1993.” Jurassic World Dominion will pick up around four years after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, during which several genetically engineered dinosaurs were auctioned to companies around the world. Of course, as things so often do at these back-alley, dino-selling events, things quickly awry. An assortment of dinosaurs escape and have been unleashed on the U.S. mainland. Dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans worldwide, and this fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.

Jurassic World Dominion will finally see humans and dinosaurs trying to coexist, with the likes of Chris Pratt as Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire Dearing teaming up with legacy heroes Laura Dern as Dr. Ellie Sattler, Sam Neill as Dr. Alan Grant, and Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm. “When we were making Jurassic World, I knew it was gonna be really special,” Chris Pratt says. “I could never have imagined we’d be here working alongside Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, and Laura Dern. It’s pretty fantastic.”
Bryce Dallas Howard continues the hope adding, “it is everything we could have hoped for and more.” Finally, Colin Trevorrow promises that Jurassic World Dominion will be “a true, honest to God, scary as hell adventure.”
Jurassic World Dominion Sees Owen Grady Turn to Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler & Ian Malcolm for Help

Thanks to the onslaught of dinosaurs that now freely roam the Earth, Jurassic World’s Owen Grady will turn to the likes of Dr. Alan Grant, Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Ian Malcolm for assistance, thus bringing the franchise full circle. We cannot wait to hear what Sam Neill’s grumpy paleontologist Alan Grant thinks about all this chaos.
Jurassic World Dominion will also see several other cast members return to the fray, including Daniella Pineda, Isabella Sermon, Justice Smith, Omar Sy, and BD Wong, each of whom will reprise their roles from previous movies in the series. The sequel will also add Mamoudou Athie, Scott Haze, Dichen Lachman, Campbell Scott, and DeWanda Wise to the large ensemble cast. “This is the movie that I’ve been waiting to make from the beginning,” Trevorrow previously said of Jurassic World Dominion. “It’s the one that we have spent the past two movies building to. It really was part of a larger story and part of the design. And I think people may be underestimating the size and importance of Laura Dern and Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum’s characters in this movie.”
Jurassic World Dominion is scheduled for theatrical release on June 10, 2022, by Universal Pictures.
