Kevin Feige has been the man of the hour for quite a long time, given his enormous success with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the biggest franchise nowadays for movies and TV shows.

But is there a secret formula to make this possible? During a recent presentation on The Movie Business Podcast, Feige himself answered the question:

Secret formula or not, no one can deny that Disney has conquered the theaters with the MCU, bringing back to life prevalent characters such as Captain America and Iron Man in different ways and introducing them to new generations.

“The honest truth, which is not as exciting, but you get the inside scoop on this podcast and I’ll give it to you. There are no secrets. There’s secrets in terms of the storylines, and spoilers, and things like that, but if there was a formula, because people have been asking for a very long time, ‘What’s the formula?’ and the truth is there isn’t any. The secret that is shared across successful organizations, and storytellers, and filmmakers is just a tremendous amount of hard work. And the only thing that can power that hard work is passion. And thankfully that’s what we have at Marvel Studios in spades. I always say if we weren’t here making the movies we’d be the first ones buying advance tickets, or I used to say waiting in line around the block to go see them.”

As every year, Marvel Studios has tons of content ready for its fans this year. First, Paul Rudd is set to return as Scott Lang in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, arriving in theaters on Feb. 17. This will mark the third adventure of the character and the official introduction of the MCU’s next big bad guy, Kang, played by Jonathan Majors.

Another set of characters will appear once again in the Guardians of the Galaxy, also with their third (and probably last) movie, where the team will cross the galaxy looking for Gamora. Their road will take them to cross paths with Adam Warlock, an essential character for the franchise’s future, played by Will Poulter. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. III premieres on May 6.

Carol Danvers will come back too, but she won’t be alone this time. Brie Larson’s character will team up with recently introduced Kamala Khan and Monica Rambeau in The Marvels, arriving in theaters on Jul. 29. Disney+ will also offer an exciting slot of releases with What If…? Season 2, Secret Invasion, Loki Season 2, Ironheart, and Agatha: Coven of Chaos.
