Director Rian Johnson’s whodunit murder mystery Knives Out was a pleasant surprise in 2019. The film starred Daniel Craig as the private detective Benoit Blanc, who was tasked with investigating a death in a rich, dysfunctional family. Knives Out featured an impressive ensemble cast that included Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Shannon, and Ana de Armas. It went on to win Best Cast at the Hollywood Critics Association Awards and the Satellite Awards.
A year after acquiring the rights to two Knives Out sequels, Netflix announced the title of the first to be Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. Detective Benoit Blanc has returned, this time tackling a new case in Greece. Just like its predecessor, Glass Onion has brought together another ensemble cast. Here’s where you may have already seen the cast of the upcoming Knives Out sequel.

Daniel Craig
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer/Universal Pictures
Without a doubt, the role Daniel Craig has been most recognized for is secret agent 007 himself: James Bond. Craig appeared in five James Bond films, beginning with Casino Royale (2006) and concluding with No Time to Die (2021). The English actor may have left the life of an MI6 agent behind him, but he has established a filmography with many other roles. His non-Bond appearances include Logan Lucky, Cowboys & Aliens, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. So far, Craig has been the only actor announced to reprise his role from the original Knives Out.

In 2021, Odom received critical praise for his performance as Harold McBrayer in The Many Saints of Newark, which served as a prequel to The Sopranos.

No stranger to big franchises, Jessica Henwick was Nymeria Sand in Game of Thrones, Colleen Wing in Marvel’s Iron Fist, and Bugs in The Matrix Resurrections. At one point, Henwick was even in the running to play Rey in the Star Wars franchise. J.J. Abrams afterwards created the role of X-Wing pilot Jessika Pava for Henwick in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This made Henwick the first woman on screen to play an X-Wing pilot (note: the woman in Return of the Jedi flew an A-Wing and had her voice dubbed over by a man). In 2020, Henwick led Paramount’s Love and Monsters with Dylan O’Brien.
