The new sequel Halloween Ends is days away from its release in theaters and on Peacock, and for the first time since the original movie was released in 1978, Kyle Richards and Jamie Lee Curtis are sharing the screen once again as Lindsey Wallace and Laurie Strode. While Richards returned as Lindsey in Halloween Kills, she was not featured in any scenes with Curtis. That will change in Halloween Ends with the characters getting screen time together.

Speaking about the experience (via TooFab), Richards revealed that she was almost absent from Halloween Ends before director and co-writer David Gordon Green added her at the last minute. Richards expressed how grateful she is that these efforts were made to have her included, but made sure to note that her scenes are brief. Whether or not that means she’ll be finally getting killed off by Michael Myers remains to be seen, but either way, Richards couldn’t be happier to be a part of the film.

Behind the scenes, Richards also said she “had such a great time making this movie together” with Curtis. She spoke about how the two have only gotten closer as the decades have gone on since they appeared in John Carpenter’s Halloween.
