Lance Bass and Danielle Fishel are revisiting their ’90s high school romance for an upcoming prom flick.
The pair revealed that they were working on a movie about their short-lived love story and prom experience in a recent episode of Fishel’s Pod Meets World podcast, which she hosts alongside former Boy Meets World co-stars Will Friedle and Rider Strong. According to Fishel, Good Girls’ Lauren Lapkus and Happiest Season’s Mary Holland are writing the script.
The two dated for about a year during Fishel’s senior year of high school after they met when the actress interviewed *NSYNC for ABC. The couple attended Fishel’s prom together, an event that both say was monumental for their relationship.

The couple broke up only two weeks later, with Bass citing distance as the reason. The former *NSYNC star came out to Fishel in 2000, and the two have since remained good friends.
