Welcome to Marwen is a 2018 biographical drama written by Caroline Thompson and Robert Zemeckis. This movie follows Mark Hogancamp (Steve Carrell) as he struggles to deal with his PTSD after a violent attack left him with brain damage. Mark constructs a WWII-era village to cope with his trauma. With the help of several strong women in his corner (Leslie Mann, Janelle Monáe, Merritt Wever, Eiza González, and Gwendoline Christie), Mark works to gain the strength to testify against his attackers.
