Nielsen reported that Season 2 of Emily in Paris was one of the two most binged shows for the week of December 20-26, 2021, and reported that 77% of the audience is female. However, as Collins recently told Mathias Rosenzweig of V Magazine, at least in her experience, the show also has broad appeal among male viewers, saying:

“The first season came out when we were experiencing COVID, so we didn’t get many human interactions after releasing the show. But when we came back to Paris, people were recognizing us, and the age didn’t matter—it could be 10 years old all the way up to one’s grandparents’ age. A lot of husbands would come up to us and say, ‘I started watching it for my wife, but I think I wound up watching it quicker than she did.’”

Lily Collins Talks the ‘Ultimate Cliffhanger’ for Emily in Paris Season 3

     Netflix

The ten-episode third season of Emily in Paris once again concluded with the ‘ultimate cliffhanger.’ In another recent interview with the Netflix series star, Collins told Entertainment Weekly:

The award-winning creator and showrunner Darren Star returned to helm the third season of the Emmy-nominated series Emily in Paris. In addition to starring in the series, Collins is listed as a producer alongside MTV Entertainment Studios, Darren Star Productions, and Jax Media. The star returned for the third season alongside returning series regulars Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Lucas Bravo, Ashley Park, Camille Razat, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, and Lucien Laviscount.

“So the finale is really the ultimate cliffhanger yet again, because there’s about five different things that happened in the span of however many minutes that all of a sudden makes you wish there was a season 4 right away. So the second that she makes decisions, things start happening again. But it definitely will leave you guessing.”
