This is something Mean Girls fans may appreciate. Ahead of the release of her new holiday movie, Falling for Christmas, Lindsay Lohan has released a new single featuring her performing “Jingle Bell Rock.” The cover comes 18 years after fans saw Lohan performing the same holiday tune in Mean Girls, marking a full-circle moment for the actress and singer. A full music video has also been released for the song, which also features Ali Tomineek, and you can check that out below. The new “Jingle Bell Rock” rendition can also be played on your favorite music service.
The new film and single come as part of a recent career resurgence for Lohan, which includes signing a deal to star in multiple movies at Netflix. Falling for Christmas is the first of those movies with Lohan starring as an heiress with amnesia who falls for a single father during the holiday season. The movie releases on Nov. 10, and you can read the official synopsis for Falling for Christmas below.

Lindsay Lohan Falls for Christmas

“It’s such a refreshing, heartwarming romantic comedy, and I miss doing those kinds of movies," Lohan says of her role in Falling for Christmas. “Christmas is a time when family comes together. It’s just such a loving holiday.”
Noting how she even got to do her own stuntwork in the movie, Lohan went on to say, “All the stunt scenes were really fun for me because I haven’t gotten to do that much in a lot of my films. [Like] flying off the hill, attempting to ski well and not doing it. I love the idea of skiing, [but] I’m not very good at it.”
Chord Overstreet also stars in Falling for Christmas alongside Lohan with the rest of the cast including George Young, Jack Wagner, Olivia Perez, Alejandra Flores, Chase Ramsey, Sean Dillingham, and Antonio D. Charity. Janeen Damian directs using a screenplay by Jeff Bonnett and Ron Oliver. Michael Damian and Brad Krevoy produced, while Lohan and Damian executive produced with Steve Berman, Bryan Bordon, Jimmy Townsend, David Wulf, and Amanda Phillips.
Falling for Christmas releases globally for streaming on Netflix on Nov. 10, 2022.
