One high-kicking panda will find its way to DVD and Blu-Ray this November. Kung Fu Panda will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray in a rare Sunday release on November 9. The film will be released in a single-disc edition, a two-disc special edition, which will also be packaged with an all new animated adventure entitled Secrets of the Furious Five and the Blu-Ray edition, although no pricing details have been announced....
ABC has decided not to pick up back-nine orders for freshman series’ Last Resort and 666 Park Avenue. Both shows will continue to air in their regular time slots until their 13-episode orders have run through. Last Resort, created by Shawn Ryan (The Shield) and Karl Gajdusek, had never created the ratings foothold the network was hoping for in the Thursday 8 PM time slot, going up against heavy hitters such as The X Factor and The Big Bang Theory....

The Matthews family is finally complete for the Disney Channel pilot Girl Meets World, a spin-off of the hit 90s sitcom Boy Meets World. 13-year-old actor Teo Halm has signed on to play Elliott, the teenage son of Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) Matthews. Rowan Blanchard signed on last month to play the lead Riley, the Matthews’ 11-year-old daughter whose eyes the show is told through, in a style similar to Boy Meets World....

Actor Harry Melling has taken on numerous roles throughout his career in the entertainment industry. A new Hellraiser Remake is coming to Hulu next year, and a behind-the-scenes video has given us our first sneak peek at the new Pinhead. After the iconic character had been played by a handful of other actors in previous installments, this new take will present a different incarnation of the character played by Jamie Clayton. American funk-soul legend and Academy Award-award winning musician Isaac Hayes was found dead Sunday at his home in Memphis, Tennessee, officials said. He was 65. The talented singer, songwriter and composer, who won the Oscar in 1972 for best original song for the theme from Shaft, was found unresponsive at his house by family members, Shelby county sheriff’s spokesman Steve Shular told AFP. Hayes was discovered at about 1:00 pm (1800 GMT) collapsed on the floor of a bedroom in his home next to a treadmill that was still running, he said....
Isaiah Washington will go from the emergency room to the basketball court. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Washington has signed on to star alongside Forest Whitaker in The Patriots. Jeffrey Dean Morgan cut his own hair with a knife for the Negan jail scenes. The Walking Dead actor recently revealed the news in an interview, noting that he knew fans were going to give him grief about Negan’s normal hair in jail.
