An advance copy of the script for the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures Justice League of America film has made it’s way into the hands of Entertainment Weekly, according to IESB.net. According to EW: What we have seen remains faithful to the comic book that first appeared in 1960. All seven original members of the Justice League – Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and the Martian Manhunter – are featured in an origins story about the superhero conglomerate....

Pulling double duty as actor and director in Loverboy Kevin Bacon’s feature directorial debut is a real family affair. Loverboy stars wife Kyra Sedgwick and their children, Sosie and Travis. The Bacon’s have a rule about the kids performing, but decided to break it when the parts fit so well. Kevin and Kyra also worked together on their last film, The Woodsman. The upcoming Sony Spider-Man Universe outing, Kraven the Hunter, has reportedly received a test screening – and things are looking solid. According to industry insider Big Screen Leaks, Kraven the Hunter has now been shown to a test audience, with the Aaron Taylor-Johnson comic book vehicle receiving some positive buzz from those in attendance. Of course, a test screening is merely an early preview used to gauge audience reaction, with movies often undergoing various changes between these screenings and wide release....

Production Weekly recently tweeted that actress Kristen Stewart could star in the upcoming DreamWorks thriller Someone In the Dark as Talia. We first reported on the project last October, and that the movie was written by Richard Baney and Gregory Small. Carlos Brooks will direct and executive produce the screenplay. Someone In the Dark will start shooting in March 2011, after Kristen Stewart wraps filming on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, the final chapter in the popular vampire series....

Actor Gregory Itzin died Friday due to complications during an emergency surgery. Itzin’s death was announced by his son Wilke on Instagram and confirmed by a spokesperson, along with Jon Cassar who was a director and producer on the hit action-drama series 24. You may or may not easily recognize the name, but who can forget the face of one 24’s most villainous yet enjoyable characters? Gregory Itzin was extremely popular due to his role as President Charles Logan, a constant thorn in agent Jack Bauer’s side....

Shane Black’s Iron Man 3 is not the best MCU film, yet there is a fanbase who still holds it in high regard. The Iron Man threequel saw an anxiety-ridden Tony Stark come face to face with the consequences of his past life and the threats brought in by his charades as an outspoken and explicitly candid superhero. HBO has ordered third seasons of Eastbound & Down and Bored to Death, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The premium cable network has renewed both for an unspecified number of episodes. Season two of Eastbound & Down has averaged 1.7 million viewers, but audiences have been a little bored with Bored to Death, which has been scraping up about 1.1 million. In Bored to Death, Jonathan Ames (Jason Schwartzman), a struggling Brooklyn writer with a drinking problem, tries to cope with his recent breakup with his girlfriend by reinventing his life....

Production is underway in Salt Lake City, Utah, on the highly anticipated, innovative and re-invented High School Musical: The Musical: The Series for Disney+, The Walt Disney Company’s upcoming streaming service. The series is developed and executive produced by Tim Federle (Ferdinand), alongside showrunner and executive producer Oliver Goldstick (Pretty Little Liars, Ugly Betty). Sylvester Stallone’s The Expendables 4 has found its villain in The Raid star Iko Uwais, who joins the Rocky star along with other returnees such as Jason Statham, Randy Couture and Dolph Lundgren. Along for the ride with oldest action heroes in town will be Megan Fox, Jacob Scipio, Andy Garcia and Curtis Jackson, otherwise known as rapper 50 Cent. Stallone announced earlier this month that he was now ready to leave the franchise, posting a video on his Instagram account from the set on his last day of shooting his scenes for the film....

One of the most iconic film franchises of all time will soon be receiving a new installment. The latest entry in the Indiana Jones franchise, tentatively titled Indiana Jones 5, will continue the story of everyone’s favorite adventurer. More than 13 years after the previous installment and coming off years of delays, the film is finally set for a June 30, 2023 release. With filming only having wrapped recently, there is still a lot we don’t know....

The Good Spike Lee shows that regardless of the size of his budgets, his movies are his movies. The Bad The ending was highly convoluted. Inside Man is a heist film but it is actually more than that. A prominent bank has been taken over by Clive Owen and his pack of bandits. Denzel Washington, dressed like a New Orleans detective, is called in to handle the situation. Jodie Foster is summoned to take care of the interests that the bank’s owner (Christopher Plummer) has in his safety deposit box....

It isn’t unusual for a video game based on a film to try to draw elements directly from the film. Iron Man may be setting a new standard for that, however, since the computer models for the video games are the ones created by Industrial Light & Magic for the film. In an interview with USA Today, Mike McHale, senior producer at Sega of America, said ““We are working very closely with the film director (Jon Favreau) and production staff, and they have actually given us the computer-generated model for Iron Man himself created by ILM and we’re able to put that into the game....
