Serinda Swan (Ballers, Graceland) will star as Medusa in Marvel’s Inhumans television series, the never-before-told epic adventure of the royal family. In this series, Medusa is the Queen of the Inhumans and wife of Black Bolt, his most trusted advisor, a fiercely resilient warrior who has the ability to move and control her hair the way most people use their hands and fingers. It remains to be seen how many more roles are still left to be filled before production gets under way....

A brand new Mortal Kombat video has debuted online today with some speculating that it could be tied into a new feature film. Now Latino Review is reporting that the video is actually test footage shot for Warner Bros. to secure funding for a new, hard-R Mortal Kombat film. The site is also reporting that the short film was directed by Kevin Tancharoen (Fame) and they also have a breakdown of who starred in the short as well....

The hit Syfy series Warehouse 13 continues its Season 4 run tonight, Monday, May 13 at 10 PM ET with the film noir episode “The Big Snag”. Executive producer Jack Kenny was recently joined by guest stars Missi Pyle and Enrico Colantoni to discuss this episode. Jack Kenny revealed that series star Joanne Kelly has already come up with an idea about how to get these guest stars back on the show....

Jan de Bont will be directing Chinese actress Ziyi Zhang in a new live-action movie that tells the tale of legendary Chinese soldier Hua Mulan, according to The Hollywood Reporter. John Blickstead wrote the screenplay for Jan de Bont to direct from. The story about the female soldier who joined a Chinese all-male army dates back to a 6th Century poem and Mulan’s tale was made popular by the 1998 Disney animated movie Mulan....

As reported by Variety, according to consultancy Artisan Gateway, One Piece Film Red had a weekend box office gain of RMB56 million (US$7.9 million). The Japanese anime blockbuster topped the charts at the Chinese box office, taking the top spot from Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween, which ranked number one the previous two weeks. One Piece Film Red is the latest feature film adaptation of manga artist Eiichiro Oda’s popular comic series....

It might be time for the Paranormal Activity series to end. At this point, seven installments have been released in the long-running horror franchise, and there’s currently an eighth installment in the works. When that next film, Paranormal Activity: The Other Side, is released, it could very well serve as the final chapter of the series according to Blumhouse’s Jason Blum. In a new interview with Variety, Blum touches on the Paranormal Activity series....

Some big fans of Friends might want to see a reboot of the classic comedy series, but star Jennifer Aniston doesn’t seem too thrilled about the idea. During a recent appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Aniston spent some time speaking about the beloved ’90s sitcom. She also revealed that she still hangs out with her fellow co-stars as the crew remains what you could call a tight-knit family. Still, though the actress admits they all miss the show every day, it’s not looking like she’s eager to get back on the set for a modern take on the series....

Jennifer Beals is set to guest-star on Lie to Me as Zoe Landau, Lightman’s (Tim Roth) ex-wife and Emily’s (Hayley McFarland) mother. When Landau, an Assistant U.S. Attorney, hires The Lightman Group to assist with an arson case, it quickly becomes clear that she and Lightman still have feelings for each other. Beals’ multi-episode arc begins Wednesday, April 29 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Since her breakout role in Flashdance, a part that earned her a Golden Globe nomination and an NAACP Image Award, Beals has been featured extensively in films and on television....

Jerry Seinfeld is heading back to the stage for a very unique stand-up special, which is set to arrive on Netflix next month. The streaming service struck a deal with the comedian earlier this year and we are finally getting his first Netflix stand-up special, Jerry Before Seinfeld on September 19. Now, Netflix has released the first trailer for the special, which sees Seinfeld revisiting some of his earliest bits that helped make him a household name....

Will Johnny Depp appear in Beetlejuice 2? No official announcements have been made, and it’s still not clear if the long-rumored sequel is definitely happening. With that said, some fans think they have found evidence that Depp will be involved with the movie, as a Google listing for Beetlejuice 2 lists Depp alongside Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder. More information about the rumored film has also been spotted on its IMDb page....

John Wick spin-off Ballerina has kicked off filming in Prague this week, and it looks like Ana de Armas will be joined by the main man of the franchise in the action movie. A new report by Collider confirmed that Keanu Reeves will be reprising his role as Wick in the film, although there has been no word yet on how big a part he will play in the highly anticipated off-shoot of the John Wick franchise....

USA Network, the #1 network in 2010 for an unprecedented five consecutive years running, is kicking off its spring lineup with two of its popular original series, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and In Plain Sight. Law & Order: Criminal Intent returns for its final season with eight all new episodes and In Plain Sight will air its fourth season with 13 episodes. Both will premiere on Sunday, May 1, at 9/8c and 10/9c, respectively....

I was recently on the Los Angeles set of 7500, the CBS Films thriller about evil forces on an airplane, which hits theaters August 28, 2012. We spoke with actress Leslie Bibb on the set, who plays one of the main stewardesses on this doomed flight from Tokyo to Los Angeles. A new look at Batgirl has been released, not that we’ll ever get to see the finished film. Featuring Leslie Grace as Barbara “Babs” Gordon, the film would have brought Batgirl into the DCEU as the star of her own movie on HBO Max. Filming had been completed with the film in post-production when the film was abruptly canceled by the new brass at Warner Bros. Discovery. On TikTok, Grace shared a video featuring some behind-the-scenes footage from the filming of Batgirl....

The moment that Smallville fans have been waiting for seven years is about to arrive, when the show returns with new episodes in April. Brian Peterson, executive producer of the show, told SCI FI Wire that this episode shows where Lex truly goes bad. “I would say if you are going to watch one episode of Smallville, you need to watch Descent”, Peterson said. “It is pivotal.
