George Clooney is set to narrate the HBO documentary Sand and Sorrow. According to Variety, he will also be producing the Paul Freeman project which revolves around the crisis in Darfur. The documentary reveals the history of the Sudan’s troubled Darfur region. There, the Arab-controlled government has exterminated a great portion of the African Population. The piece will also look at the international community’s delayed reaction to the problems occurring in the region....

In anticipation of FOX’s new series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, fans now have the opportunity to terminate themselves at getterminated.com, a new site where they can upload a photo and transform themselves into the ultimate T-888 Terminator model. Visitors will also be able to “take back the future” by inserting themselves into an action scene from the series. Netflix has dropped the official trailer for the second season of Ginny & Georgia. Created by Sarah Lampert and starring Brianne Howey and Antonia Gentry, the series debuted its first season in February 2021. After waiting nearly two years, fans will be able to check out the new episodes when season 2 premieres on Jan. 5, 2023. A new series titled Ginny & Georgia is coming to Netflix on Feb. 24, 2021. It tells the story of 15-year-old Ginny Miller, who often feels more mature than her 30-year-old mother, Georgia. Georgia decides to settle down in a New England town with her daughter and son, in order to give them a better life, but secrets from the past may jeopardize their future. Brianne Howey, known for her role in Batwoman, plays Georgia Miller, while Antonia Gentry plays Ginny....

Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment are teaming up to develop a feature film based on the 60 Minutes segment Gospel for Teens, about a group of teens in Harlem who overcame their personal struggles through the art of gospel singing, according to Deadline. Stephen Belber will write the script. The 60 Minutes segment followed Lesley Stahl who spent a year trailing Vy Higginsen, an accomplished gospel singer who started a program for teens in Harlem with the intention of preserving the art form by introducing it to a young generation....

A little while back, Seth Rogen mentioned in an interview that he didn’t want to do a sequel to his acclaimed comedy Superbad, even though Sony was pushing for one. AMC has picked up the Western series Hell on Wheels for a Season 3 renewal. The network has ordered 10 additional episodes, which will likely debut sometime next fall. Series creators Joe Gayton and Tony Gayton have stepped down as executive producers on the show, although they may remain on board as consultants. John Shiban will continue to serve as showrunner. Joe Gayton and Tony Gayton had a two-year contract with AMC, which has expired and they are moving on to other projects....

Henry Cavill is currently officially free of his comic book role as Superman, but fans already are imagining what he could do as a popular upcoming Marvel character. Cassian Andor graced the screen in Disney’s Rogue One, a gritty depiction of the intergalactic rebellion. Warner Bros. has finalized deals with producer Akiva Goldsman and Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment for the sequel I Am Legend 2. Arash Amel has signed on to write the screenplay.
