MTV’s Scream will have a much different look when the series returns, since it was revealed in April that Scream Season 3 will be a full reboot of the series, starring Queen Latifah. Now we’ve learned that the original mask is coming back. A new report reveals that the original Fun World Ghostface mask from the Scream movie franchise will be returning this season. MTV also recently announced even more new cast members for Scream Season 3....

After the dust has settled from the format war, one observer thinks Blu-Ray might have lost as well. According to DVD Town, THX chief scientist Laurie Fincham, while talking to Home Cinema Choice Magazine, said BD won’t become the standard in the home entertainment market. “Personally, I think it’s too late for Blu-ray. I think consumers will only become interested in replacing DVD when HD movies becomes available on flash memory....

James Spader is in talks to join The Office for Season 8, but not for the role you might think. He will play the CEO of Dunder Mifflin, replacing Kathy Bates’ Jo Bennett. The actor was one of the many guest stars to appear in the Season 7 finale last month, as one of the applicants vying to replace Steve Carell’s Michael Scott as Dunder Mifflin’s regional manager. Now it seems that James Spader will take on the CEO role, since Kathy Bates is leaving the show to focus on the second season of her NBC series, Harry’s Law....

Marvel Studios may be looking to bring a new Marvel superhero series to ABC, as the network is said to be in early talks with Kevin Feige to make that happen. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is concluding its seven-season run on the network this year, which will leave the Disney-owned network with no Marvel programming. Feige and Disney have been focused on future efforts for Disney+, but they may still be carving out time, and a hero or two, for network television in the future....

Comey Central is bringing back the sketch-comedy duo Keegan Michael Key and Jordan Peele for a second season of the hit series Key & Peele airing Wednesday, September 26 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, following the fall premiere of South Park.
