Warner Brothers has released a new video for Watchmen which takes us deeper into the head of the psychotic vigilante, Rorschach. NBC aired the first of these character profiles, featuring Dr. Manhattan, Sunday night, and then put it up on NBC.com. The Rorschach profile first aired Monday night during Heroes, and now it is also online for your viewing pleasure. Expect to see similar profiles for Nite-Owl, Silk Spectre, The Comedian and Ozymandias as we lead up to the release of the film....

A grieving college professor gets into an escalating conflict with hunters who continually trespass on her remote property. God’s Country is a slow-burn thriller loaded with emotional and racial subtext. Based on the short film and story, “Winter’s Light” by James Lee Burke, tensions are stoked like an ember that roars into a raging fire. The protagonist gets thorough exposition, but the supporting characters are essentially one-note. This leads to a dichotomy of gender, race, and background that paints the antagonists with the same brush....

Professor Charles Xavier is making his way to the small screen for the first time ever. At least in live-action. It’s been announced that Harry Lloyd will portray the iconic mutant in Legion season 3 on FX. The network recently announced that the series will be ending with its third season, but they clearly intend to go out with a bang. The announcement was made by series creator Noah Hawley, who revealed that the former Game of Thrones star will portray Professor X, becoming the first person to do so on live-action television....

When adapting a book for the screen, it’s pretty common to see that some things get changed for the film version. The reasons for this vary, but there’s only so much time an audience can dedicate to a movie. Some things are going to get removed or changed when a book becomes a movie. The first trailer has arrived for the upcoming video game tie-in for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2, which hits theaters on July 15. It’s gonna get whacky on HBO Max soon! Jellystone season 2 is officially coming to HBO Max on March 17th. For the special occasion, the crew released a trailer teasing all sorts of cartoony antics. For those that are wondering what Yogi Bear is doing in a space suit, Jellystone is the brainchild of C. H. Greenblatt (Chowder, Harvey Beaks). The show is a reimagining of the world of Hanna-Barbera, where all the signature characters live in the fictional town of Jellystone....

Prime Video’s Somebody I Used to Know starring Alison Brie and Jay Elis presents the prospective viewer with an interesting take on a usual love triangle. The movie will premiere on the platform just a few days before Valentine’s Day on February 10. Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios have launched the official website for director Jon Favreau’s Iron Man movie. The site gives you a first look at the logo for the comic book adaptation. The news of the death of James Caan has led to many tributes being paid by peers, co-stars and friends of the Oscar-nominated star. Among them were a trio of messages from his “Godfather” family; director Francis Ford Coppola and co-stars Al Pacino and Robert De Niro, who shared their thoughts on Caan. Having worked with Francis Ford Coppola on 1969’s The Rain People, Caan worked with the director again when he took on the role of Sonny Corleone in The Godfather in 1972....

Without a doubt, one of the most popular action films of the ’90s is True Lies. The film was directed by Oscar winner James Cameron and starred now-Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger as a super-spy who’s wife, Jamie Lee Curtis, finally learns his secret. While Cameron allegedly wrote a sequel to the 1994 film, which grossed almost $400 million worldwide, a follow-up was never made. With Cameron’s post Avatar schedule already filling up, Schwarzenegger’s time consumed with running California, and the fact that it’s been over fifteen years since the original, a sequel does not look likely....
