Sarah Phelps (EastEnders) will write the mini-series based on J.K. Rowling’s 2012 book, which is set in the seemingly-sleepy English town of Pagford, where a beloved councilman suddenly dies. The unexpected death launches the village into chaos as the townsfolk fight over the vacant seat....

Jackass Forever is a box office success. The new movie, which is the fourth installment of the Jackass movie series, will be wrapping up its box office haul for the weekend with $23.5 million pulled in domestically. A new action-thriller flick starring John Travolta is on the way, courtesy of Saban Films. Per The Hollywood Reporter, the studio has picked up the Travolta-led film American Metal for worldwide distribution at the Cannes market. The film also stars Stephen Dorff (Blade), Shiloh Fernandez (Evil Dead), Ashley Benson (Pretty Little Liars), and Kevin Dillon (Entourage). Nicholas Maggio is the writer and director, marking his feature debut. It is produced by 308 Entertainment’s Corey Large and Bernie Gewissler in association with Bondit Media Capital....

Following the news that action movie legend Bruce Willis is stepping away from acting due to his struggles with aphasia, Joseph Gordon-Levitt has discussed working with the actor on the 2012 sci-fi action flick, Looper. Speaking with Vanity Fair, Gordon-Levitt, who plays a young version of Bruce Willis’ character in Looper, revealed how Bruce Willis gave him a compliment in that uber-cool way that only Bruce Willis can. Endeavor Content has just announced Kelvin Harrison Jr. (The Lion King Prequel ) will be portraying the legendary artist Jean-Michel Basquiat in the biopic Samo Lives, which will be penned, directed and produced by Julius Onah. Kelvin Harrison Jr. will be reuniting with the Luce writer and director. “The sensitivity and soulfulness Kelvin will bring is the reason why I know the story I’m seeking to tell will truly honor Jean-Michel’s legacy,” the filmmaker wrote....

South Park has been a staple of the comedy world since the ’90s. Thus far, there have been twenty-five seasons of the show. The show’s creators, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, are responsible for the bulk of its creative process.
