IDW Publishing has announced that Tom Scioli, the visionary creator responsible for Transformers vs. G.I. Joe, is unleashing his imagination on the wonderful world of Go-Bots. The comic book series will be Launching in October. Go-Bots will be the first story to feature the classic toy and cartoon characters like Leader-1, Scooter, Turbo, and Cy-Kill’s Renegades in over three decades. Go-Bots were never seen as cool as Transformers, though they were here a whole year before the big guys came on the scene....

GreeneStreet Films New York based production company is producing two high-profile films, says Variety. Lindsay Lohan has joined the cast of Bill starring Aaron Eckhart. Elizabeth Banks is in final negotiations to join the cast. The film which is currently in production follows Eckhart’s character as a man going through a mid-life crisis whose wife has a fling with a local newscaster that’s broadcast over the Internet. GreeneStreet’s Tenderness, starring Russell Crowe has also added more to the cast: Jon Foster (Door in the Floor) and Sophie Traub (Daltry Calhoun)....

Academy Award winner Halle Berry will star in Extant, a serialized drama from Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television and CBS Television Studios. In August, the CBS Television Network announced a straight-to-series order for Extant, to be broadcast in summer 2014. Jackie Chan says that a movie costarring two of the biggest names in kung fu cinema - Jackie Chan and Jet Li - is nearly a sealed deal, with the only outstanding issue being the script, according to the Associated Press. “All the hurdles have been overcome. Actor Jason Momoa will be stepping behind the camera for his next big film project. Per Variety, it has just been announced that the Aquaman star will team up with producer Peter Safran to develop a biopic about Duke Kahanamoku, a Hawaiian Olympic swimmer who’s said to have popularized surfing as a sport. Momoa and Safran will be producing the feature alongside Susan Miller Carlson and Eric Carlson of Carlson Company while Chris Kekaniokalani Bright (Conviction) will write the screenplay....

Jennifer Aniston is returning to NBC for a guest appearance on 30 Rock, the same network that brought ten years of Friends into our living rooms. The story follows a high-school teacher that was left at the altar and now must “send off her uptight cousin with a huge bachelorette bash.” It turns out that the cousin is marrying the teacher’s best male friend. At the bachelorette party, the uptight cousin runs afoul of her fiance with a drunken indiscretion....
