Jennifer Garner has responded favorably to the suggestion of a reboot to the once popular action television series Alias. With the show ending back in 2006, fans have wondered whether we would ever return to the shady world of covert agent Sydney Bristow, with Garner now revealing that she would very much love a comeback. Jennifer Garner quickly threw down her approval of the idea of bringing the series back, before joking that she’ll “grab Bradley [Cooper, her former co-star and dear friend] by the scruff of his neck....

After getting into the business as a child star in the 1990s, 31-year-old actor Jonathan Lipnicki has opened up on why he’s not seen so much in Hollywood movies these days. Appearing alongside Tom Cruise, Lipnicki made his feature film debut with a key role in the 1996 sports dramedy Jerry Maguire. He can also be remembered for his starring roles in The Little Vampire and the Stuart Little movies....

We have further evidence that The Defenders season 2 isn’t happening. Netflix has had a tremendous amount of success with their Marvel shows. Jim Nabors, star of The Andy Griffith Show and Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C., has died at the age of 87. Nabors passed away in Hawaii after suffering from health issues for the last couple of years. His health had been in decline as the result of a liver transplant from 20 years ago. The news was confirmed by his longtime partner and husband since 2013, Stan Cadwallader. Starting in 1962, Jim Nabors became a household name when he debuted on The Andy Griffith Show as Gomer Pyle....

Marvel’s Blade could have moved forward with John Wick director Chad Stahelski if things had gone according to plan. Stahelski, a former stuntman and kickboxer, made his directorial debut in 2014 with the Keanu Reeves-starrer action thriller John Wick and has since gone on to helm all the sequels of the franchise. But before John Wick, Stahelski and co-director David Leitch worked as stunt coordinators on dozens of Hollywood blockbusters, including several Marvel films....

Johnny Depp made some furry friends after a recent visit to Folly Wildlife Rescue in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The rescue center revealed with posts on social media an image of Depp cuddling with a Badger during his visit which was made amid the actor performing on stage with Jeff Beck in the UK. As they also explain, Depp spent the afternoon at the center to learn about the work they do with wildlife while spending some time with the animals, including a badger cub named after a music legend....

George Clooney is set to tell the story of artwork stolen by the Nazis during WWII and has optioned the nonfiction book “The Monuments Men: Allied Heroes, Nazi Thieves, and the Greatest Treasure Hunt in History”, by author Robert M. Last week, Girl Meets World star Rider Strong suggested that the show was cancelled following the current third season. The Disney Channel has confirmed that the show will come to an end after the Girl Meets World Season 3 finale, “Girl Meets Goodbye,” which airs on Friday, January 20 at 6 PM ET. Several of the show’s stars and writers have issued their own statements, saying their goodbyes to fans, before the series finale airs in a few weeks....

The 79th Golden Globe Awards took place last night, but you’ll be excused for not knowing it happened. For the first time in decades, the Golden Globes did not come with a televised event attended by the biggest celebrities in Hollywood. As reported at MovieWeb last year, NBC decided not to air the awards show in 2022 due to various controversies regarding the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s lack of inclusion and transparency, which peaked with a “Time’s Up” campaign to protest the HFPA’s lack of Black membership....

Fans of Good Trouble will be happy to know that the series will be returning for a fifth season. Per The Hollywood Reporter, Freeform has just put in the renewal for season 5. The renewal was announced at the virtual Television Critics Association for its summer press tour, and with the series heading into a fifth season, it is the second-longest running scripted original series at Freeform. “Freeform is evolving with young adults because we are not about an age — Freeform is an attitude,” network president Tara Duncan is quoted as saying....
