Veteran actor James Caan recently died at the age of 82, but he leaves behind one last performance for his fans to look forward to. Before the actor’s death, it had been reported that he’d been cast in Fast Charlie, an upcoming thriller featuring James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan as a hitman with Caan co-starring as his boss. Per Deadline, Caan had finished filming his scenes for the film prior to his death and he will be appearing posthumously in Fast Charlie when the film is released in 2023....

After over four decades, Jamie Lee Curtis is saying her final farewell to Halloween with this week’s release of Halloween Ends. The movie serves as the third and final installment of a new trilogy of films that began at Blumhouse with director David Gordon Green in 2018. No matter what happens with Laurie and arch-nemesis Michael Myers in the film, Halloween Ends was designed to bring closure to Laurie’s story and appears to truly be the end of JLC playing the role of Laurie Strode....

Jeopardy! is about to run out of new episodes. The popular gameshow, which is hosted by Alex Trebek, was forced to halt production back in the middle of March due to the world’s current state of affairs. Luckily, the gameshow tapes most of their shows far enough in advance that they were able to make it this far. However, the show was able to delay the release of the final episodes during the first two weeks of May with the Greatest of All Time tournament....

You can re-live one of Oliver Stone’s most controversial films on DVD and Blu-Ray this November. JFK will be released in an Ultimate Collectors Edition on DVD and Blu-Ray on November 11. AMC announced today that acclaimed film actors Jim Caviezel (The Passion of the ChristThe Thin Red Line) and Ian McKellen (Lord of the Rings, The Da Vinci Code) have signed on for the network’s reinterpretation of the highly influential 1960s cult classic, The Prisoner. AMC is co-producing the six-part mini-series with ITV Productions and Granada International, with a worldwide premiere slated for 2009. The Prisoner, AMC’s second original mini-series, combines a wide range of genres, including espionage, thriller and scifi, into a unique and compelling drama, and expands upon the network’s distinctive cinematic approach to creating high-quality programming....

Since its release on August 9, Jennette McCurdy’s memoir I’m Glad My Mom Died has taken the internet by storm. The hyper-popular memoir, which features the former actress smiling unapologetically while holding a confetti-filled urn on the cover, details the mental and physical abuse that McCurdy suffered under her mother growing up. David Cronenberg’s Crimes of the Future arrived at Cannes this week and as predicted by the director saw a number of walk-outs from those not quite prepared for the body horror movie. Canadian actor George R. Robertson of Police Academy fame has passed away. According to an obituary released by the family, Robertson died on Jan. 29 while surrounded by family members at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, Canada. The family also says a memorial service will be heald in March. Robertson was 89 years old. George Ross Robertson was born on April 20, 1933, in Brampton, Ontario. He began his career in show business with stage work before going on to appear in 80 titles in film and television....

The Avengers will need to prepare for Johnny Blaze to give them some trouble in a future movie if Mark Neveldine gets his way. The director of the 2011 sequel Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Neveldine has some experience with helming Marvel stories, though the Ghost Rider films were not a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
