In just a few short days, Game of Thrones Season 7 will finally be upon us, with the season premiere airing Sunday, July 16 at 9 PM ET on HBO. Since there has been very little released about the new season, and the eighth and final season that will follow in either 2018 or 2019, a new tidbit from Daenerys Targaryen herself, Emilia Clarke, could prove to be quite interesting. During a new interview promoting this upcoming season, the actress made it clear that she will not be returning for any of the other spin-off shows that have been in development, which could mean that Daenerys will not survive Season 8....

It’s now known that Chris Pratt will be voicing Garfield in an all-new animated movie, and this has left many Bill Murray fans unhappy. This new movie will be animated and is not connected to the two live-action movies which featured Murray in the voice of Garfield. As Murray hasn’t made a secret of the fact that he isn’t fond of those movies, it seems unlikely he’d ever want to revisit the character, though that hasn’t stopped fans online from calling for it to happen....

After Glee star Cory Monteith tragically passed away this summer, many wondered what the future would hold for the hit Fox musical series. During last night’s Paley Center panel, series creator Ryan Murphy confirmed that the show will come to an end after Season 6. Work has officially begun on season 3 of Harley Quinn for HBO Max. After the first two seasons of the vulgar and violent animated series moved to the streamer, HBO Max renewed the series for a third season thanks to high viewership and critical success. It wasn’t clear when production will start for season 3, but co-showrunner Patrick Schumacker has just revealed on Twitter that work has begun on the new episodes....

It’s been known for a while that Hayden Christensen will be back as Darth Vader for the Disney+ show Obi-Wan Kenobi. So once again, he’s had to strap on the helmet and giant suit of armor the characters had to wear ever since he disregarded how Obi-Wan had the high ground on Mustafar. Was moving around in that outfit easy? No. According to Christensen, it’s challenging. According to Christensen, for his return, they spent a lot of time figuring out how to move and walk, as the suit also really informed your movement....

Will Ferrell and Adam McKay’s Gary Sanchez Prods. has landed its first TV series. HBO has picked up the company’s comedy pilot about a baseball player-turned-gym teacher to series with a five-episode order (for a total of six, including the pilot), according to The Hollywood Reporter. Written by Jody Hill, Ben Best and Danny McBride, the untitled project, also known as “East Bound and Down,” centers on Kenny Powers (McBride), a burned-out professional baseball pitcher who returns to his hometown in the South, where the only job he can find is as a substitute gym teacher....

New Line Cinema is moving forward on a sequel to their hit summer comedy Horrible Bosses, which took in over $200 million worldwide. Original writers John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein have signed deals to write the sequel, with stars Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, and Jason Sudeikis all expected to return. The studio is also in talks with director Seth Gordon to helm the sequel. The comedy, which only cost $35 million to make, became a surprise summer hit, earning $117 million at the domestic box office and $209 million worldwide....

Though the wait for House of the Dragon season 2 will be quite long, that hasn’t stopped Tom Glynn-Carney, who portrays Aegon II Targaryen, from teasing what’s to come. The first season of the HBO Game of Thrones prequel followed House Targaryen and House Hightower, two families vying for the Iron Throne and control over the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros. Carney took over the role of Aegon in the eighth episode of the debut season, following a six-year time jump requiring a recasting of the child actors....

James Bond 23 has been put on hold while MGM awaits bids from other studios to help assist in production costs for the long awaited big screen return of 007. This means that we may not see Daniel Craig’s third turn behind the tuxedo in November of 2012 as previously promised by MGM. In a recent interview, producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli explained that the project’s timeline was up in the air, and despite MGM’s push to have James Bond 23 on screens by the end of 2012, they knew they were going to have to be flexible with the impending release date....

James Gunn, the co-chairman and co-CEO of DC Studios, recently indicated his interest in having Ben Affleck as a potential director for one of their projects. The renowned actor has also directed some notable films such as Argo, Live by Night, and other projects in the works. The most recent of these is Air Jordan, which tells the story of shoe salesman Sonny Vaccaro and how he led Nike in its pursuit of the basketball superstar Michael Jordan....

It looks like Jason Momoa will be going face to face with Vin Diesel in Fast and Furious 10. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Momoa is in final negotiations to lock down a role as one of the villains in the tenth installments of the popular movie series. Universal declined to comment on the situation, though the casting of a big star like Momoa makes sense with the Fast and Furious team wanting to take the franchise out with a bang....
