The actor who portrays the voice of Batman talks about this new animated DVD Superman/Batman: Public Enemies will bring the next animated adventure of both Superman and Batman to DVD and Blu-ray on September 29, with Tim Daly voicing Superman and Kevin Conroy voicing Batman. Kennedy and purports that Mafia leader Carlos Marcello confessed to ordering the assassination of President Kennedy. Leonardo DiCaprio would star in the movie, playing FBI informant Jack Van Laningham, who was positioned by the FBI to get close to Marcello and become his confidant as part of a long-stemming undercover operation....

Liam Neeson has signed up for a new action movie that will team him back up with Robert Lorenz, who directed Neeson in The Marksman, which found its way to the top of the U.S. box office earlier in the year. In the Land of Saints and Sinners, a thriller set in Ireland, will see Neeson getting into a tussle with terrorists as a retired assassin pulled into a deadly cat and mouse race against time....

Producer Gareth Unwin and writer David Seidler, who collaborated on this November’s Tom Hooper drama The King’s Speech, are set to work together once again on the upcoming biopic The Lady Who Went Too Far. David Seidler will be adapting Kirsten Ellis’s biography of Lady Hester Stanhope entitled “Star of the Morning” for the drama, which centers on the life and times of the famous world traveler. Set during the Napoleonic Wars, the tale will contain elements of a political thriller as Stanhope traverses through Europe and the Middle East in search of herself....

Heather Locklear will reprise her role as scheming vixen Amanda Woodward of Melrose Place which airs Tuesdays (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on The CW. It was a wonderful opening for Hocus Pocus 2 on Disney+. Shortly after the movie’s premiere on the streaming platform, it was announced that Hocus Pocus 2 has set the new record with the strongest domestic debut to date. Disney+ revealed that the film pulled in higher viewership than any other premiere based on hours streamed within its first three days of release. This isn’t the biggest surprise in the world given the hype that has been building for the Halloween movie’s release....

The opening night ceremony and awards presentation of the 6th Annual Russian Cultural Festival in West Hollywood was held at the Hyatt West on Sunset Boulevard. The special guest for the evening was famed singer/songwriter Willy Tokarev, known as the Russian Tony Bennett, who was flown in from Moscow to perform at two separate events in West Hollywood, then jet off to to San Francisco for a concert. Fans of Critical Role, the series of Dungeons and Dragons livestreams hosted by famed voice actor Matthew Mercer that serve as the basis for which The Legend of Vox Machina is based, will also not need to wonder at all about which direction the story will go, as the very last scene of the very last episode showed four dragons descending on the city of Emon. Fans of Critical Role will recognize these dragons as the Chroma Conclave, a quartet (formerly quintet) of ancient, powerful dragons that seek to, what else, take over the world....

According to Variety, Scrubs may be gone soon. It seems NBC is certainly sending out that message with its last batch of promos. The one that aired during Monday night’s episode of Heroes claimed that Scrubs was airing its “final episodes.” The next promo to air declared that there were only “four episodes left.” It’s not like the network to be so vague. Usually, when a popular series reaches its climax, NBC will promote the heck out of that final episode....

It seems that the always-working Star Trek director could add another project to his growing plate. Towards the end of a Wall Street Journal story on the impact of toys and board games in Hollywood, it was revealed that J.J. Abrams is in talks to produce a film based on the toy line Micronauts. The toy line was first released in Japan by the toy company Takara in 1974 and then brought to the United States in 1976 by the Mego Corporation, when they took on the name Micronauts....

As it would turn out, Jeremy Renner’s heroic ways extend past the skilled marksman Hawkeye who he portrays in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Since the beginning of the new year, Renner has received surgical treatment and begun therapy for injuries sustained in a freak snowplow accident. On Tuesday, CNN obtained the Nevada sheriff department latest incident report which states that Renner was pulled under the snow tractor and crushed after an attempt to save his nephew from being hit by the vehicle....

John Mahoney, best known for playing the father on Frasier for 11 seasons, has passed away. He was 77 years old. According to reports, the actor died on February 4th in Chicago while in hospice care. Mahoney played Martin Crane alongside Kelsey Grammer and David Hyde Pierce, and was nominated for an Emmy twice and won a Screen Actor’s Guild award for his grumpy old man character, who was inseparable with his Parson Russel Terrier Eddie....
