Johnny Depp and others laughed in court during his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard when the actor’s security guard was asked if he had ever seen the actor’s penis, per The Toronto Sun. On Thursday, Depp’s bodyguard, Malcolm Connolly, took the stand to address the star’s time in Australia in 2015 while filming the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. During cross-examination, Heard’s lawyer, who appeared via a live video link in the courtroom, asked Connolly whether he had witnessed Depp urinating in the foyer....

Marvel Studios has hired Jon Favreau to develop and direct the big-screen adaptation of Iron Man and has attracted an impressive roster of writers to help bring some of its high-profile characters such as Captain America and Thor to the big screen. The Hollywood Reporter says Favreau will direct a feature version of Marvel’s armored hero and develop the script with the writing team of Arthur Marcum and Matt Holloway (Convoy)....

Julie Andrews is joining Dwayne Johnson and Ashley Judd in Fox’s family comedy The Tooth Fairy. According to The Hollywood Reporter, also on board are Extras star Stephen Merchant, who also co-created The Office, and pro skateboarder Ryan Sheckler (MTV’s Life of Ryan). The film centers on Derek Thompson (Johnson), a minor-league hockey player whose nickname is the Tooth Fairy because of his ability to knock out opposing players’ teeth. Judd plays his girlfriend....

Actress and model Kymberly Herrin has died at the age of 65, according to an obituary published by the Santa Barbara New-Press. While the name Kymberly Herrin may not instantly ring a bell for most people, fans of 1984’s Ghostbusters will know her as the alluring ghost that makes Dan Aykroyd’s Ray smile during a somewhat risky dream sequence in the middle of the movie. While her cause of death has not been revealed, the obituary states that she died peacefully at home on October 28, and family have asked for donations to the American Cancer Society to “further the research of the prevention and treatment of breast cancer....

Everyone’s favorite blonde-bombshell attorney, Elle Woods, is coming back. Legally Blonde 3 is currently in development and is being written by actress and screenwriter Mindy Kaling and Dan Goor. The original film, named Legally Blonde, was released in cinemas in 2001 and was an instant success. The film spawned a sequel in 2003 titled Legally Blonde: Red, White, and Blonde. Since its release, Legally Blonde has amassed a devoted following and has made the first film’s stars more popular than they already were: Reese Witherspoon (who played Elle Woods) and Jennifer Coolidge (who played Paulette Bonafonté)....

Netflix will be debuting the new series Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities just in time for Halloween, and on October eve, an official trailer for the show has been unveiled. Consisting of eight spooky stories told across four nights as part of the Netflix & Chills Halloween event, the debut of the series will kick off with a double episode premiere on Oct. 25, 2022. It has been confirmed that a second season of Hellbound is in the works. Premiering on Netflix in September 2021, the South Korean series tells the story of supernatural creatures who emerge to condemn people to Hell in spectacular fashion, to put it one way.
