Jurassic World: Dominion arrived in cinemas this summer to round off the Jurassic Park franchise, at least for a little while. The critically-acclaimed boxing drama Lights Out has been canceled by FX, just a few weeks shy of the season (now series) finale. The remaining two episodes of Lights Out will air at its normal time, 10 PM ET, on Tuesday, March 29 and Tuesday, April 5. Lights Out premiered in January to modest ratings, with just 1.5 million viewers tuning in for the pilot episode. Zachary Quinto has signed on for a guest-starring role on Season 3 of NBC’s Hannibal. Warner Brothers and DC Comics have decided not to make Teen Titans: The Judas Contract one of the next DC Universe Animated Movies. Marv Wolfman, who wrote the Teen Titans comic for DC in the 1980s and is one of the scriptwriters for the animated feature recently told World’s Finest Online that Warner Home Video has decided to delay the film at least until the completion of Batman: Gotham Knight and Wonder Woman....
Adam Green’s horror sequel Hatchet II was released in unprecedented fashion this past weekend, hitting theaters unrated through the AMC theater chain. It seems the run will only last one weekend though, as Entertainment Weekly reports that Hatchet II was yanked from all North American theaters by AMC. We reported back in August that Hatchet II would be the largest unrated theatrical release in 25 years. The Sopranos star James Gandolfini is eyeing a return to HBO with the network’s new pilot Criminal Justice, loosely based on the 2008 BBC series of the same name.
