Losing the role of Captain Jack Sparrow is something Johnny Depp couldn’t help but take personally. After committing to five feature films in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, Depp has since parted ways with Disney, a move the actor attributes to allegations against him made by ex-wife Amber Heard. Now suing Heard for defamation, Depp previously addressed his comments that he could never revisit that role, even if Disney were to come back around and offer hundreds of millions of dollars....

The musical chairs on one high-profile project keep going, as more replacements are under way. According to The Hollywood Reporter, star Sam Worthington and director Florian von Donnersmark have left the film The Tourist, and there are already some top names in line to replace them. It was reported that Johnny Depp was in negotiations to replace Worthington, while director Alfonso Cuaron is in talks to replace von Donnersmarck. This isn’t the first time The Tourist has seen cast and crew replacements....

While Ke Huy Quan won’t appear in the upcoming sequel Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, fans shouldn’t count out the return of Short Round. As it stands, the fifth Indiana Jones film is scheduled to hit theaters in June, and the movie’s arrival marks the end of an era. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star Kiernan Shipka is coming back to Riverdale. Per TVLine, Shipka has set her return to the popular role with an appearance set for later this season on The CW series, which is set in the same universe as Shipka’s canceled Netflix show. NBC’s Saturday Night Live returned last night after an off week where the network aired the new David S. Pumpkins Halloween special, with Curb Your Enthusiasm star/creator Larry David hosting with Miley Cyrus as the musical guest. This weekend’s host came under fire early on in the broadcast, when he made a joke about the holocaust in his opening monologue that was heavily bashed by viewers on Twitter. The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies star Richard Armitage has signed on to play iconic villain Francis Dolarhyde, a.k.a. The Tooth Fairy, in Season 3 of NBC’s Hannibal. The character was a primary villain in Thomas Harris’ first Hannibal Lecter novel, Red Dragon, with the character portrayed on the big screen by Tom Noonan in the 1986 adaptation Manhunter and by Ralph Fiennes in the 2003 adaptation Red Dragon....
