Fox’s new sci-fi drama Almost Human is about to wrap up its 13-episode Season 1 on Monday, March 3 with the season finale “Straw Man”, although the network hasn’t given any indication of whether or not it will be renewed for a second season. Although this is far from a confirmation, TV By the Numbers has downgraded the show’s status to “likely to be cancelled.” The network has not ordered any additional episodes, although there are some that claim the show was always intended to just have a 13-episode run for Season 1, much like Sleepy Hollow....

DreamWorks Animation chief Jeffrey Katzenberg talked about the future of 3-D for Hollywood during a three-hour pitch to Wall Street analysts Thursday, according to Variety, and revealed the company’s balance sheet as well as an early look at scenes from March release Monsters vs. Aliens. Fox has renewed its long-running animated comedy King of the Hill for the 2008-09 season, the show’s 13th season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the station ordered 13 more episodes of the 20th Century Fox TV-produced show with an option for more. Because of the long production cycle of an animated series, the half-hours will begin airing in February-March 2009, with the remaining held over for the 2009-10 season. All King of the Hill cast members are set to return, including Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, Brittany Murphy, Tom Petty, Johnny Hardwick and Stephen Root....
