Mike Judge’s King of the Hill is a series that just won’t go away. Originally running for 13 seasons and over 250 episodes, King of the Hill has since been a staple part of Adult Swim’s transitionary programming and Hulu’s expansive catalog, constantly serving up the misadventures of Arlen’s down-to-Earth residents. After being abruptly canceled in 2009, fans of the series clamored to both Mike Judge and Fox to bring the show back, but plans to do so ultimately never came to fruition....

The cast of Prime Video’s Fallout series is taking shape with a handful of newcomers added to the show. Based on the popular video game series of the same name, Fallout will be set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland filled with mutant creatures and murderous raiders. Netflix has released the first Season 2 trailer and poster for their original series Lilyhammer, along with the announcement that all eight episodes will debut Friday, December 13 at 12:01 AM PT. Steven Van Zandt stars as Frank “The Fixer” Tagliano, a mob informant who is relocated to Lillehammer, Norway in the series. As HBO has slowed production on original movies the company has begun shelling out decent sized money for indie films. In a story from Variety, the company that delivered Sex and the City and The Sopranos (and reaped some hefty financial rewards with their DVD releases), has bought such films as Rob Schneider’s directorial debut Big Stan and The OH in Ohio starring Parker Posey and Danny Devito. HBO is spending $500,000 to $2 million to purchase these films....

Prime Video’s Hunters is coming to an end. Back in early 2020, Hunters premiered its first season one Prime Video, and the David Weil-created series was given a renewal for season 2 that summer. Progress had been slow on getting to season 2, but after a long wait, the new episodes are finally set to premiere on Jan. 13, 2023. However, ahead of the premiere, it has now been confirmed (via Variety) that Hunters has been canceled and will end with its upcoming second season....
