Donald Glover has achieved heights in his career that very few performers his age do. We know that Mad Men star John Slattery will appear in this weekend’s Iron Man 2 as Howard Stark, the industrialist father of Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark and now it seems the character could turn up in another Marvel film. MTV Splash Page spoke with Iron Man 2 director Jon Favreau who revealed that Howard Stark would also appear in next year’s Captain America: The First Avenger. A few months ago, Marvel fans were surprised by the official announcement of Deadpool 3, with the return of not only Ryan Reynolds but Hugh Jackman as Wolverine after saying many times he wouldn’t reprise the role after Logan (2017). There’s still plenty of time for the actor to prepare for the film, but he’s already into it. On his social media, Jackman shared an image of sculptures of the two characters side by side, preparing the audience for what might be one of the most epic reunions on screen, especially considering Hugh and Ryan’s friendship, which will be a fantastic addition to the characters’ chemistry....

Three more actors have been added to Kyle Rankin’s bug thriller Infestation. Originally introduced as a character in the Spider-Man comics, the character later grew into establishing his own range of comics. Next week is the 20th anniversary of the live-action Scooby-Doo movie and co-writer James Gunn has shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of the movie to celebrate the occasion. The first live-action movie starring the loveable Great Dane saw Neil Fanning providing Scooby with a voice, while Matthew Lillard, Linda Cardellini, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. took on the human roles of the Mystery Inc crew. Scooby-Doo was released on June 14, 2002 and saw the spooky mystery solvers going their separate ways after a number of disagreements....

Matt Reeves and James Gunn have both made it clear that there are no plans for The Batman to enter the DCU, but Reeves has recently revealed that he will be meeting up with Gunn and DC Studios co-CEO Peter Safran this month to discuss his “Bat-verse” plan and how it will run in parallel to the upcoming DCU reboot. Crazy Rich Asians’ Astrid and Charlie are getting their own spinoff, Deadline reports. The romantic comedy, not to be confused with the Crazy Rich Asians sequel, will follow the relationship between Astrid Young Teo and Charlie Wu. Crazy Rich Asians director Jon M. Chu, Color Force’s Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson, and SK Global’s John Penotti will serve as producers. A potential title has not been named and there is no projected premiere date....

Vin Diesel will face off with Jason Momoa in Fast and Furious 10. After it was previously reported that Momoa had joined the Fast family with his casting in Fast 10, the actor has spoken out about his role in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight. While Momoa cannot reveal anything specific about the character he’s playing, he does confirm that he’ll be the movie’s villain, and the Aquaman star couldn’t be more thrilled to play the antagonist....

The upcoming series Kaos has gotten a casting shakeup ahead of production, but with the exit of one popular actor comes the entrance of another. Originally, it was reported that Hugh Grant was in talks to star in the Netflix series as the Greek god Zeus. Per Deadline, Grant has since had to back out due to scheduling conflicts, but Jurassic World Dominion star Jeff Goldblum has been brought in to replace him....

The Avengers director Joss Whedon is making his return to television with the new series Pippa Smith: Grown-Up Detective. Whedon is set to executive produce the new series on Freeform, and will help guide it in the coming months as it proceeds through its early stages of development. While Whedon is now best known for directing The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron, and even playing a major role in directing and rewriting last year’s Justice League, the director’s roots actually lie in television....

Judd Apatow was honored last night at The Venice Family Clinic where the director talked about his upcoming projects, including the Untitled Pee-Wee-Herman Adventure starring Paul Reubens and the Untitled Comedy which is a Knocked Up spin-off centering on the characters played by Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd, scheduled for release June 1, 2012. Kevin Smith recently spoke about how excited he was to return to directing an episode of CW’s The Flash and also revealed that he and Jason Mewes will guest star in the episode. The series is in the middle of its 4th Season and Smith directed the seventeenth episode of this run, titled Null and Annoyed. While the plot details aren’t available yet, Smith says some fans will definitely accuse him of jumping the shark with this new episode, but he insists that it’s great and fun....
