Hayden Christensen has come a long way since he was cast as Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, but he clearly remembers being told he had the role quite vividly. Although it is unlikely that the actor had any idea just how iconic his part in the space opera would be or that he would be back to play the role again some 18 years after he thought he was done with the franchise, he is certainly happy to be back....

In an in interesting development, it appears that HD-DVD has sold more units but Blu-ray is generating more money. In a story from Home Media Retailing, the “research firm The NPD Group released early tracking data of the HD-DVD and Blu-ray Disc launches at the DisplaySearch HDTV conference Aug. 15.” In looking at the different formats’ first six weeks on the market, “HD-DVD player sales, which began in April, outsold Blu-ray players, which launched in June, by 33%....

We’ll be seeing Henry Cavill back as Sherlock Holmes soon enough as the actor has personally announced that he’s finished with filming his scenes for Enola Holmes 2. Producer Joel Silver has picked up rights for Fortune’s Children: The Fall of the House of Vanderbilt, a history of the famous family’s decline by Arthur T. Vanderbilt II, for a potential series for HBO. According to Variety, Silver and Jane Semel will exec produce the hourlong drama.
