According to Entertainment Weekly, J.J. Abrams is collaborating with Jonah Nolan, and is currently shopping the idea around to different networks. The untitled show marks Jonah Nolan’s first foray into the world of serialized television, which J.J. Abrams certainly knows something about having worked on both Lost and Alias....

It has been reveled by Paddy Considine that Jackie Earle Haley is now set to play the masked vigilante Rorschach in the film adaptation of Watchmen. Considine was originally set to play the character, back when Paul Greengrass was attached to direct. Now, it seems the former Bad News Bears actor has been hired for the role. It all begins with the paranoid delusions of a half-insane hero called Rorschach. But is Rorschach really insane or has he in fact uncovered a plot to murder super-heroes and, even worse, millions of innocent civilians?...

James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water pushes many boundaries in the world of filmmaking, and the director wanted to use the movie to bring a different level of female empowerment to audiences. It was recently reported that Jonathan Majors (Lovecraft Country, Loki) was in talks with Lionsgate to play NBA legend Dennis Rodman in the upcoming movie 48 Hours in Vegas. Former child star Ken Osmond, perhaps best known for his role as troublemaking youngster Eddie Haskell on the classic comedy series Leave It to Beaver, has sadly passed away. Reportedly, the actor died on Monday morning at his home in Los Angeles while surrounded by family members, but the exact cause of death hasn’t been revealed. Mere minutes after the news of his passing was announced, social media quickly began to see an outpouring of messages of fans paying tribute to Osmond and expressing sadness over his death....

Hank Hill and the gang return for some beer-drinking, barbecuing and Texas-sized laughs for the 11th season of King of the Hill, premiering Sunday, Jan. 21 (7:30-8:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. In the season premiere episode, Bobby’s pet snake slithers down the toilet and Hank turns to Animal Control for help. Perhaps Legends of the Hidden Temple should have stayed in the 1990s. Previously a children’s competition series that aired on Nickelodeon, Legends of the Hidden Temple was recently revived with a reboot series on The CW, but with one major twist. The contestants were now adults rather than children, possibly with the thinking that the game could be made more competitive with older players in the temple. Red and Tan Productions announces today that principal photography has commenced in Los Angeles on their latest feature film Life Tracker. Written and directed by Joe McClean (How to Make a David Lynch Film), the movie stars Matt Dallas (ABC Family’s Kyle XY, The First Ride With Wyatt Earp), Rebecca Marshall (Saw 3D) and Barry Finnegan (How to Make a David Lynch Film). Life Tracker is produced by Sarju Patel and Debbie Vandermeulen and is executive produced by Baron Davis and Marshall....

Following the 2002 theatrical release of Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, animator and director Genndy Tartakovsky debuted a 2D animated Clone Wars series on Cartoon Network. The show aired both on the channel and online. Both volumes of Star Wars: Clone Wars, a self-proclaimed microseries, would go on to win Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Animated Program, leading to the creation of future projects following the Clone Wars....

The long-running (for Netflix, especially) comedy series Grace and Frankie will take a bow this month with the release of season 7B, premiering the very last episodes on April 29. Going out with a bang, and releasing the final episodes also officially sets the record for Grace and Frankie to become the longest-running Netflix original series. You can break out of prison with your two favorite stoners on DVD and Blu-Ray this July. Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay is coming to DVD and Blu-Ray on July 29. The film will be released in a single-disc edition, two-disc edition and a Blu-Ray edition.
