January 31, 2023, will be known as a major day for DC. James Gunn, who is now the co-president of DC Films, revealed his plans for the next era of DC storytelling which looks to unite all the stories across various forms of media including film, television, animation, and video games. Gunn, who is co-running the studio with Peter Safran, is a very busy man and while he is a talented filmmaker he cannot do this all alone, so he brought on a team of writers to help map out the future of the DCU and give it a sense of direction it has not had in quite some time....

When it comes to superhero movies, it is hard to argue that the Marvel Cinematic Universe isn’t the biggest name in film. After It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia ended its 12th Season in March, series co-creator and star Glenn Howerton hinted that there would be an extended hiatus between Season 12 and Season 13, and that he may not return as Dennis Reynolds. A few months later, it was in fact confirmed that the new season won’t air until 2019. The entire cast recently appeared at Vulture Fest, and it appears that we will be getting Season 13 at some point next year, but it still hasn’t been confirmed one way or another if Glenn Howerton is returning as Dennis....

007 is officially back. James Bond 23 has been set with an official release date of November 9, 2012. Producer Barbara Broccoli was attracted to the actor after seeing his current London play, Deathtrap. He will also star as King Lear in a 2012 stage production which Sam Mendes is directing at the National Theatre....

According to Variety, Jason Bateman has been cast alongside Natalie Portman and Dustin Hoffman in writer-director Zach Helm’s Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium for Mandate Pictures and FilmColony. Fans have expressed their dismay over Hulu canceling the new comedy series Reboot after just one season. Premiering on Hulu in September, Reboot tells the story of a sitcom’s cast getting brought back together for a reboot of their previously-canceled show. Among them is Johnny Knoxville, who was part of the ensemble cast with his role as fictional sitcom actor Clay Barber. As the series was a hit with viewers, garnering positive reviews and debuting to high viewership, fans were expecting Reboot to be renewed....

While it has been rumored for weeks now, Lindsay Lohan is confirmed to be in talks to play Victoria Gotti in director Nick Cassavetes’ upcoming biopic Gotti: Three Generations. There have been many films over the years that, in spite of being highly panned by critics, grossed millions around the world and became box office hits. The 2000 film Gone in 60 Seconds is an obvious example of that. This Dominic Sena-directed production is an action remake of the 1974 film of the same name that was written, directed, produced and starred H. B. Halicki. Rock ’n’ roll pioneer Jerry Lee Lewis has sadly passed away, and among those paying tribute is the actor who played the famous singer in the biopic Great Balls of Fire!. Known for his classic songs like “Great Balls of Fire” and “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On,” Lewis died on Friday at the age of 87. Given the influence he’s had, Lewis had many mourning his death with tributes, and actor Dennis Quaid released a statement expressing his sorrow over the news....
