Relativity Media has closed a deal with Phillip Noyce (Salt, The Bone Collector) to direct their upcoming Hunter Killer, based on the novel Firing Point by George Wallace (Final Bearing) Cdr. USN Ret. and Don Keith (Final Bearing). Production is targeted to start in late 2011. Noyce, known for international action-thrillers such as Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger, will helm the film based on the script penned by Jamie Moss (X-Men: First Class, Escape from New York), John Kolvenbach (Coney Island) and Arne Schmidt (Chain Reaction)....

Ahead of the release of Clerks III in theaters, writer-director Kevin Smith has revealed what his original plan was for the anticipated sequel. Capping off the trilogy, Clerks III will take the story back to where it all began by following Dante Hicks (Brian O’Halloran) and Randal Graves (Jeff Anderson) at Quick Stop Groceries. This time, the pair team up to make an indie film about their jobs as lifelong clerks in a way that’s similar to what Smith had done in real life with the first Clerks movie....

Another fan favorite from the John Wick franchise has been confirmed for a return in Ballerina, the first spinoff of the immensely popular action movie series. Lance Reddick, who appears in all three prior John Wick films as well as the upcoming John Wick: Chapter 4, has been announced to reprise his role for Ballerina. The Good A very well done show that is simple, straight forward and never gets ahead of itself. The Bad While the amount of Deleted Scenes is impressive, it would have been nice to have seen a featurette inside the Writer’s Room. Law & Order - The Fourth Year is one of those shows that is hard not to like. It moves well, it’s stories are interesting and it has some of the best writing I have ever seen in a dramatic TV show....

We just reported yesterday that Zack Snyder’s animated film was getting re-titled to Legend of the Guardians and now it seems we can see a trailer very soon. Author Kathryn Lasky, who wrote the books the film is based on, posted on her official website that the trailer for Legend of the Guardians was going to be attached to prints of Alice in Wonderland this weekend.
