Glass Onion Director Says Cut Post Credit Scene Would Have Changed The Entire Movie

Glass Onion’s ending seems prefect enough as it is, but Rian Johnson recently revealed details about a post-credit scene that was almost included in the movie which would have changed one of the movie’s iconic scenes. During an interview for Empire’s Spoiler Special podcast, Johnson explained how a big Mona Lisa moment was almost undone by the proposed post-credits stinger. He said: “We also shot a little coda which we decided not to use, with Blanc on the phone speaking French and getting a little affirmation of ‘ah, oui, oui, merci’ and cutting to an office in the Louvre where the real Mona Lisa is, with the security guards saying ‘well, back to work’, but that pulls a punch, I like that the real painting gets destroyed in the movie....

Guardians Of The Galaxy Are There Other Members In Marvel Comics That Can Be Introduced To The Mcu

In 2014, writer/director James Gunn brought the Marvel Cinematic Universe to space with the release of Guardians of the Galaxy. Bringing in the cosmic characters of the Marvel Universe was always going to be tricky (there’s some zany stuff out there), but Gunn threw everyone in the deep end with all kinds of fun characters, monsters, and technology. Although the first film really hit us with a bunch of lore, we never felt lost because Gunn understood the need to have a simple, identifiable story for the audience to latch onto....

Hinterland Review Dizzying Post War Perfection
