Jerry Bruckheimer and Michael Bay might be together again. This time at HBO, on a Warner Bros. TV drama series project loosely based on the 2006 documentary Cocaine Cowboys.Cocaine Cowboys. According to Variety, if a deal comes together, the series would revolve around the drug trade in Miami in the 1980s. Instead of the flash of Crockett and Tubbs, the show would focus on the cutthroat world of drug dealers and the Colombian cocaine kingpins who set up shop in the once-sleepy Florida city....

Minamata is now playing in U.S. movie theaters, and lead star Johnny Depp couldn’t be happier. The actor took to Instagram to make an announcement about the film’s release, noting how excited he was to see this story getting told. This is significant as Depp only posts on social media on very rare occasions, but the release of Minamata was clearly very important to him. The petition to revive the Netflix series Julie and The Phantoms on Change.org currently boasts a raging 100,000 signatures, as fans are unwilling to let this one go. Followers of the Netflix musical dramedy were left broken-hearted after it was announced that the show will not be resumed for a second season last month. The news had also saddened the ones associated with the show, as Kenny Ortega, executive producer, choreographer, and director of Julie and The Phantoms announced the news on Instagram in December with a heavy heart....

Kate Winslet has escaped serious injury after an on-set accident. Recently, Winslet has been hard at work with a role in the historical drama movie Lee that’s shooting in Croatia. The Hollywood Reporter reports that Winslet had a fall on the set and was hospitalized as a result, but this was fortunately a precautionary measure as the actress was not seriously injured. Her reps have confirmed that she is doing well and plans to be back on set this week to resume production....
