Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom star Ke Huy Quan is down to return as Short Round in a new Indiana Jones movie, and somebody at Paramount needs to make this happen. As it stands, Indiana Jones 5 has already wrapped filming, though it’s not set to release in theaters until next year. Quan was not involved with the sequel, and given that cameras have stopped rolling, it’s probably too late to see Short Round return in the film at this point to reunite with Harrison Ford’s Dr....

From Hamlet to Victor Frankenstein, Kenneth Branagh’s acting past is littered with all manner of tragic characters, but he is now set to play the most tragic character of all, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. After being revealed to be taking on the role last month for Sky series This Sceptred Isle, we now have our first look at Branagh in costume, ruffled bleached blonde hair and all. The hair and make-up team have truly outdone themselves turning Branagh’s familiar face into that of Boris Johnson, with their work rendering the actor completely unrecognizable....

Kurt Russell and his son Wyatt Russell will be working together after being cast in Legendary’s Monsterverse Apple TV+ Godzilla series. While the pair have both worked in the Marvel Cinematic Universe on separate projects, the new Godzilla and the Titans series will see them appearing on screen together in what will be Kurt Russell’s first TV appearance in around 45 years. Wyatt Russell recently appeared in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and is currently starring alongside Andrew Garfield in Under the Banner of Heaven....

The ever-growing cast of Alan Ball’s HBO vampire series has grown once more. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lauren Bowles has signed on for a role in the upcoming fourth season of True Blood. Bowles will play Holly Cleary, a mother who applies for a job at Merlotte’s, and whose eerie observations give Arlene (Carrie Preston) the creeps. It was said that she signed on to recur in five episodes in the upcoming third season and has an option to become a series regular in Season 4 as well....

The CW is rebooting Legends of the Hidden Temple, the children’s game show that originally broadcast on Nickelodeon in the early-to-mid 1990s. Hosted by Kirk Fogg, the series featured a temple filled with malevolent guards and hidden treasure for young competitors to seek out. A large talking stone head named Olmec (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker) was also featured to guide players through the competition, which would result in one team earning the chance to explore the temple....

An epic new poster and a handful of images from Pixar’s upcoming Toy Story spinoff, Lightyear, further tease the cosmic adventures of the titular Space Ranger. Voiced by Captain America: The First Avenger star Chris Evans, Lightyear will introduce audiences to the real-life version of beloved Pixar character, Buzz Lightyear, who must embark on an adventure to save himself and his crew. Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures The poster gives us a good look at this “real-life” version of Buzz Lightyear, with the brave astronaut looking all kinds of heroic as he emerges from the fog....

ABC has just found two actors for two of its brand new pilots. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Geoff Stults has joined the cast as the lead in Happy Town and Martin Henderson signs on for Inside the Box. Happy Town is a new series in the vein of Twin Peaks, with a small town coping with its first crime in seven years - a grizly murder - and the town’s new sherrif Tommy (Stults) who has to solve the case....

We could be seeing that hothead biker riding into theaters sooner than we might have thought. Collider caught up with producer Mike De Luca who revealed many interesting points about the sequel Ghost Rider 2, including that the title could end up being Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. While that title may not end up beind the final title, De Luca did reveal that original Ghost Rider director Mark Steven Johnson will not be back to direct the sequel and Eva Mendes will not be back for the new film as well....

If word on the grapevine is true, it seems we can see some ecto-plasmic goodness in 1080p this October. According to GBFans.com, Ghostbusters will be coming to Blu-Ray on October 21. This hasn’t been confirmed as of yet, but apparently Sony and Vivendi Games want to release both the BD disc and the new Ghostbusters: The Video Game on that same date. Apparently an Ecto-1 vehicle is currently travelling to Best Buy and Game Stop stores all across the country to promote the new video game....

David Mazouz (Touch) has been cast as the preteen Bruce Wayne in Gotham, sentenced to a solitary life after the tragic murder of his wealthy parents. Serious and soulful, young Bruce relies on the guidance and protection of Alfred Pennyworth and James Gordon. As has been reported previously, Gotham is the origin story of Commissioner James Gordon and not a “Batman” show. David is playing the young Bruce Wayne - not Batman....

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment had just what the doctor ordered last week. In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, the studio saw Grey’s Anatomy: The Complete Third Season take the No. 1 spot on the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert. Taking the No. 1 spot on Home Media Magazine’s rental chart was Paramount Home Entertainment’s Blades of Glory. After the monumental success of Todd Phillips’ summer comedy The Hangover, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that a sequel is fastly approaching its own headache-inducing start date. According to a new interview with Entertainment Weely, Phillips himself is writing the follow-up screenplay, which he is midway through completing. Phillips told the publication: Phillips is currently hard at work on Due Date, a comedy which will team Robert Downey Jr. with The Hangover’s bearded wonder Zach Galifianakis....

Harry Styles made a cameo appearance in the post credits scene of Eternals as Eros/Starfox and although Kevin Feige has made it clear that Eros will return, Styles himself has suggested that he will not be returning to making movies “for a while.” This means fans should settle in for a bit of a wait until they next see the brother of Thanos return to the MCU. Former One Direction singer Styles has made a solid mark in Hollywood with starring roles in Dunkirk, the psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling with Florence Pugh and will soon be seen in My Policeman....

The Last of Us arrived on HBO Max last night as one of the most anticipated TV shows of the month, if not the year. For that reason, reports of the HBO Max app crashing under the strain of huge volumes of watchers was not the best start for the show that has gained almost perfect audience and critical reviews so far. The popularity and media coverage of the new series, which is based on the equally-popular video game of the same name, ensured that the premiere of The Last of Us was always going to be a big viewing event....

Showtime has announced that the seventh season of the Emmy and Golden Globe winning hit drama Homeland will kick off on Sunday, February 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
