The survivors are back together in an early set photo for Halloween Ends, the third installment of Blumhouse’s Halloween movie trilogy. Shortly after Jamie Lee Curtis revealed an image of herself on the set in character as Laurie Strode, producer Jason Blum shared another set photo providing another good look at the scream queen’s return. In the photo, Curtis is also joined by a returning Kyle Richards as Lindsay Wallace and Andi Matichak as Laurie’s granddaughter Allyson....

Halo star and Wolverine fan-casting favorite Pablo Schreiber has confirmed talks with Marvel Studios. During an appearance on the latest episode of the Bingeworthy podcast, the actor revealed that he has met with Marvel “at different points” during his career and even revealed that they have “flirted” with the idea of him becoming the new Wolverine. While the actor and the studio have not quite managed to find the right role at the right time, Schreiber says he’s still “open” to more meetings with them, one of which could lead to him joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe....

Wiltshire Times & Chippenham News reports that scenes from the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be filmed in the cloisters at Lacock Abbey and that the local villagers will be handsomely paid for their participation: The sixth film in the Harry Potter franchise is expected to be released on November 21, 2008. Scenes from the first two Harry Potter blockbusters were filmed in the village and in the cloisters at Lacock Abbey....

Jeremy Irons is heading back to the DC universe, but in a very different capacity. Irons recently has been featured as Alfred Pennyworth in both Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League. Now, HBO has tapped the actor to lead their upcoming Watchmen TV series. Paramount Home Entertainment announced plans for a retail promotion in the U.S. and Canada in celebration of Earth Day, April 22, 2007, in which the studio will donate a copy of Academy Award-winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth on DVD to registered high schools, on a first come, first serve basis, for every DVD of the film purchased at retail on that day. Horror is a dime a dozen genre with countless monsters and victims. Every kind of fear has been imagined and realized. B-movie schlock is the bottom-of-the-barrel horror, a low-budget barometer for the audience. These movies were made for cheap with fast turnaround times in between major productions. Quantity over quality was the way of the B-movie. It wasn’t until the ’50s that this niche garnered a larger audience and eventually a cult following of horror devotees....

On the twentieth anniversary of Boyz N the Hood, rapper-turned-actor Ice Cube is returning to South Central Los Angles with the Walt Disney Studios produced Chrome and Paint, which he will direct and produce. Ice Cube will co-write the screenplay with Raising Victor Vargas’ Eva Vives, based on a song off his 2006 album ‘Laugh Now, Cry Later’. Th project will center on the burgeoning car culture, and will feature the low riders seen on parade ever Sunday in East Los Angeles’ Elysian Park....

The Indiana Jones franchise went on hiatus following the release of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in 2008, which, though panned by many, was a financial success. Now, nearly 15 years later, a fifth Indiana Jones film is slated for release in 2023, helmed by Logan and Ford v Ferrari director James Mangold. Fans of the classic adventure series are excited to see whether this new entry can reinvigorate the franchise in ways that the polarizing, alien-filled Kingdom of the Crystal Skull did not....

According to Deadline, an erotic, body swap horror movie starring Heather Graham and Judah Lewis has recently wrapped its principal photography. Directed by Joe Lynch and written by Dennis Paoli, the film will be loosely based on H.P. Lovecraft’s short story The Thing on the Doorstep. Graham will play a psychiatrist who ends up becoming obsessed with a young patient with multiple personalities. Also starring in the film is Barbara Crampton....
