Broadway World recently chatted with actor Ian McKellen, who revealed he has not yet signed onto play the wizard Gandalf in The Hobbit. Here’s an excerpt from the site’s interview: The news is fairly bizarre since Ian McKellen seemed to be quite close to the production in the past. The actor said in September, before The Hobbit was officially greenlit, that the movie would start shooting next January. Although that has now been changed to a February 2011 start date....

The long-awaited iCarly revival now has a premiere date on Paramount+. Most of the cast will return on their new streaming home starting June 17. The stars of iCarly have reunited in a new behind-the-scenes video teasing the upcoming revival on Paramount+ this summer. It’s been previously revealed how most of the main stars of the original Nickelodeon show will be back to reprise their roles. This includes Miranda Cosgrove and Jerry Trainor, who respectively played Carly and Spencer Shay in the original series....

We now know when we’ll see Idris Elba back as Luther in the upcoming Luther movie coming to Netflix. On Friday, the streamer announced that the series will start streaming in March 2023, though the exact day of the month has yet to be revealed. While Gyllenhaal is playing a new incarnation of Dalton, there are some differences with the new movie. Gyllenhaal’s Dalton is an ex-UFC fighter who winds up working at a Florida Keys roadhouse where trouble inevitably arises. Jonny Quest is making his way towards the multiplex. According to Variety, Warner Brothers has hired Hitman producers Adrian Askarieh and Daniel Alter to adapt the Hanna-Barbara sleuth for the silver screen. Dan Mazeau will write this live-action version of the 1960s cartoon. The original version centered on a young boy and his scientist father, a pair of world travels always up for an adventure. They were accompanied by Bandit the bulldog and Jonny’s adopted brother from India on their journeys across the globe....

Stuff is reporting that Weta Workshops will be producing the costumes for the upcoming Warner Brothers film Justice League of America. They will be designing suits for Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and The Flash. The film will be shot in Sydney, Australia later this year. Australian George Miller is in the director’s seat for the project. Producer Barrie Osborne stated about Weta, “They are doing all the costumes and they’re doing a brilliant job....

Last night, The CW aired the Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 premiere, where the Waverider crew went back to 1942 to save Albert Einstein from being kidnapped. After that episode aired, The CW released a new trailer for the second Season 2 episode, The Justice Society of America, which airs Thursday, October 20 at 8 PM ET on The CW. This new footage reveals the Legends have reunited with Hourman (Patrick Adams), who introduces them to the Justice Society of America....

While the live-action version of Harley Quinn played by Margot Robbie has had a bumpy road so far, the animated Harley Quinn show has gone from strength to strength. The series recently got a Season 3 renewal. During an interview, showrunner Patrick Schumacker revealed how the upcoming season will honor Harley and her gal-pal turned girlfriend Poison Ivy’s budding romance. Voice of Harley Quinn herself, Kaley Cuoco, also celebrated the renewal of her show, posting an image on Instagram with the message, ‘Who’s ready for more @dcharleyquinn !...
