Jurassic World: Dominion finally arrived in cinemas this weekend and has roared straight to the top of the box office. The Lucasfilm kickoff panel at Star Wars Celebration contained plenty of announcements about the franchise’s future on Disney+, but there were no updates on any of the films that are currently in the works. EPIX and Media Rights Capital (MRC) today announced that they have signed a deal for Emmy Award-winning writer and producer Larry Charles to develop a new comedy series, iCON for the multiplatform premium entertainment channel, video-on-demand and online service, EPIX. Produced by MRC, the independent film, television and digital studio, “iCON” is a half hour single camera comedy from Emmy Award-winner Larry Charles (Seinfeld, Entourage, Curb Your Enthusiasm). The photo comes from a new list from USA Today previewing new movies coming out this fall, and among them is a Halloween Ends photo revealing a sneak peek at the final battle between Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Michael Myers (James Jude Courtney). Things don’t look too good in the photo for Laurie, but given how much she has already survived, fans know not to count her out just yet....
